Papakea K402 is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo with welcoming tropical hues that greet you the moment you walk in. Beautifully furnished and decorated, K402 can accommodate up to 8 guests. The unit includes a split AC system and ceiling fans to stay cool after a long day in the sun. Modern furnishings, Maui-inspired designs, and artwork throughout the condo transport you to the perfect beachy abode where you can instantly unwind. Enjoy stunning ocean views, poolside relaxation, gorgeous tropical grounds, and other amenities! The private lanai is a great place to relax, entertain, and dine in Maui-style! In the evenings, you'll be privy to Maui's epic sunsets over the Pacific.

Step through the sliding glass doors and find an open-concept living area featuring tile floors and vaulted ceilings. Relax and unwind on the comfortable couch, and enjoy the upscale furniture including a one of a kind resin top coffee table commissioned from local artist Cathleen McCandless. Watch your favorite show on the SmartTV, or whip up something (try a poke bowl) in the updated kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and counter seating for 3. You can also find additional seating for 6 in the dining area. Under the stairway, there is a nook with an under-the-sea mural painted by local artist Jordan Keahi. You'll look forward to laying your head down at night in the master bedroom of your dreams. This luxurious space boasts vaulted ceilings, a California king-size bed, ocean views, and a flat-screen TV. Enjoy a moment of solitude in the rocking chair overlooking the ocean views! The ensuite bathroom features a tub/shower combo.

Down the hallway, you'll find the convenient washer and dryer as well as a guest bedroom and bathroom. A comfortable queen-size bed with plenty of closet space, a ceiling fan, and a TV. Upstairs is the 3rd loft bedroom which includes two twin-size beds, a TV, and its own half bathroom. The perfect setup for larger groups traveling together! The loft is accented with fun under the sea creatures - see if you can find them all! All mattresses and box springs were replaced in November 2022.

- Papakea Resort is performing a property-wide extensive plumbing project and you may hear some noise during this time. Work in this unit will begin January 6th, 2026, with an estimated completion projected on or around February 9th, 2026.
- Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
- Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
- To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
- Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
- We have been notified that the project is pending completion around June 2026. We have decreased rates during these dates to compensate for any inconvenience. ***

It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

Resort/location was fantastic. This unit, not so much.

The Papakea resort grounds and staff were fantastic. Beautiful setting away from the craziness of the larger more touristy resorts. The unit itself was okay. We had plenty of room for our family and everything was clean. Minor updates in the bathrooms, and maintenance to the sliding doors and shutter style windows would improve the overall experience. The AC in the guest room did not work the entire week we were there, and given the number of fans stuffed into the various closets, it probably hasnā€™t worked for quite some time. Communication with property management was not great. Most of my emails to them went unanswered. It took two days of back and forth communications about the ac to finally send someone over to look it, who ultimately could not fix it but offered to bring us more fans. We would definitely consider staying at Papakea resorts again, but not in a unit under this management company.

Great Location

The location is great, the grounds are beautiful & well maintained. My #1 issue is with the cleanliness of our accommodations. We pay a cleaning fee upfront, my expectations are that we would arrive to a clean room! The attention to detail in reference to cleaning is disgusting.

Not ideal

We didn't receive the correct information to access the property, upon check in was told they didn't have it and would have to contact my perfect stay to get that. Upon arriving in condo, it was dirty, no cleaning supplies, cockroaches, shower door fell off when opening it, washer didn't work properly and the one air conditioner leaked water the entire stay. We had to re-arrange 2 days of our stay to accommodate maintenance which only fixed one of the 5 items that were discussed. My perfect stay didnā€™t seem to truly understand the on-going issues with the property. I would not recommend this condo or renting anything from My Perfect Stay.

Pluses : Great view, nice linens, and plenty of dishes (except forks) Cons: Unit needs serious updating and better maintenance. The guest bathroom has an outdated small bathtub with shower. Very slippery when wet. Mold on top of shower. Unrecognizable substance on shower door hinge. Black substance around faucets in loft. Master bathroom shower drips. Some outlets in rooms donā€™t work. Light bulbs missing or donā€™t work. Leg on chair in dining area is very wobbly. Washing machine cycles are not as indicated on dial. Toilet in loft Ā½ bathroom must be flushed twice. TVs in guest and loft areas not connected to cable.

Wonderful property, great location

Close to multiple beaches and restaurants. Many on site amenities, in unit laundry was a huge plus. Easy to access, staff in the office are incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay here again next time.

Thanksgiving Holiday

The condo we stayed in met all our needs and expectations! Sitting on the lanai enjoying our morning coffee, listening to the ocean roar and being treated to many rainbows was a gift we didnā€™t expect! The property is busy during the day with families taking part in the activities provided like shuffleboard, swimming, and Putt-Putt golf or just those sunning, reading and enjoying their solitude. At night, it is quiet, restful and fun if you want a night swim or soak in the hot tub. We we strongly supported by the reality company if we had questions or needed anything! We couldnā€™t have asked for anything more!

Loved the beautiful resort overall and would definitely recommend and would stay again. However, Check in was very confusing. Key cards and key pad code provided by front desk didnā€™t work. Property manager provided different keypad code that worked. No instructions provided in advance for trash services. Televisions were not connected to the internet. No mention of how to get clean towels, etc. inside condo instructions would have been extremely helpful.

Lovely family trip

We had a family vacation in Maui and this was a wonderful place to stay. The view was fantastic. The resort had a lot of fun things to do for kids (mini golf, pool) and walking around the resort was beautiful with all the fish to look at.

Excellent Property

My family of 7 stayed here and had a great time. The communication with the property management was great as they were very detailed in their checkin and welcome emails as well as check out emails. We also had one thing we emailed them about during the stay and they got right back to us the very next morning. The property is nice. Kitchen is a little small but was sufficient for our needs and is as pictured on their listing. No issues or complaints.

Awesome View and Great Location

In total there were 6 adults and one child all staying here and it was spacious and clean. The location was great, walking distance to shops and grocery store. The facilities were well maintained. Overall, I would recommend this place for any large family looking to have an unforgettable experience.

Ocean Front Family Friendly Condo

Spacious 2 bedroom condo with a loft comfortably fit my family of 6. Quiet, well kept grounds, gorgeous view of pool and ocean. Fell asleep each night listening to the ocean waves. Full kitchen made it easy to keep kids fed without always having to eat out. Restaurants, food trucks and grocery store in walking distance! Washer/dryer was very convenient however they are small so had to do many loads for my family of 6. Also dryer wasnā€™t very strong so drying towels was challenging and often had to hang them on chairs to completely dry. 2.5 baths was nice to have however they are a bit outdated. There is A/C which we were happy to have on those humid days! I would definitely stay here again!

The Perfect Getaway

What a beautiful, relaxing and comfortable condominium! The lovely views, amazing host and generous supplies set the tone for a relaxing resort getaway! Oh! Not to mention the incredible ocean sounds! The grounds are peaceful and well maintained with great gathering/lounging areas that offer unobstructed views. There is plenty to do on and off the resort property. My only questions is, how quickly can I return to this lovely place ?!?
