"What a jem in the center of Parksville. If I could give it 10 stars I would! The suite exceeded all my expectations. Everything that I needed for my stay was available. The soaker tub was a added bonus on the cold rainy nights. Communication was great. I highly recommend this suite. A big Texas thank you to Doris and Rick! #1 on my list for my visits to the Island."

The property was too dark for us (but we like lots of light) - it is the bottom level of a house with windows facing only south under a large deck for the upper level sticking out several feet from the house. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit is smaller than the pictures portray - but then that's often the case. The property has lovely water front trails. Our only complaint was the lack of a small sink in the 'kitchen' area - just a little challenging to do the few dishes we used. Also some decaf. coffee would be nice."

"While we started the stay with a bit of communication confusion and found the kitchen floor to have missed its sweeping, the house was in a gorgeous location and proved to be great place for watching the northern lights. The four of us found the beds to be comfortable and enjoyed evenings on enjoying the fireplace, cooking, and using those great desk chairs to watch the sound and the lights. Overall, a great stay. "
