The Sandcastle is one of the largest houses on the Garden City Beach peninsula. Equipped with an elevator, in ground pool and 5500 sqft of space inside the house, you'll understand how this beauty got its name. There are two living rooms in the house and 6 bedrooms total, each having a bathroom attached to it.

Enjoy the sunrise over the ocean with your morning coffee from the front deck and sunset cocktails over the Marsh from the back deck!

Located between Yucca and Cedar ave Beach access, beach views and listening to the wonderful ocean sounds and breezes are just a few perks of staying at this awesome beach house!

Some other things you can do near the house is to
rent a golf cart a few blocks away or stroll along the beautiful Garden City Beaches. You can also rent a jet ski, go parasailing or deep sea fishing out of Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, take an evening sunset cruise or simply head to the beach on southern end of this unique peninsula and spend the day watching the boats travel in and out of the Inlet. You may just be lucky enough to see dolphins playing in the water and and occasional SeaTurtle swim by!

Great place to celebrate our friend getting married.
I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a great time in Murrells Inlet. The house is extremely spacious with tons of room for a large amount of guests. Couldn’t have asked for a better owner, he was in constant contact about whatever we needed and both check in and check out were seamless. When we weren’t at the golf course we took advantage of the beautiful pool and backyard. The beach is a very close walk. Definitely will be staying here again the next time we visit South Carolina.

Great family house
We were there for the storm and the house was very equipped for an indoor stay. There were games, books, puzzles and coloring books for the children and the kitchen had every pot, pan, baking dish and utensil you could possibly want. When the sun finally came out it was a very close walk to the beach and there were plenty of chairs, toys and towels for all.

Great House
We loved the easy access to the beach and nice pool area. The decks also had nice views of the beach sunrise and inlet sunset. The garage had lots of beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, and beach carts. There was plenty of room for our group of 8 women and 6 kids to gather and to sleep. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. And most of all our host was very responsive in answering our questions and sending us help in operating the elevator. Having the elevator was also a plus for transporting luggage and groceries.

...and a GREAT TIME was had by all....
The house was open and friendly! Each room had bath towels enough for the guests in that room (YAY)! There were plenty of beach towels and beach toys and chairs. The pool area was clean and very pleasant and accommodated our group of 11 easily. Our whole group enjoyed everything about our stay in the Sandcastle! The best part was that, when we had an issue, the owner and his property manager resolved it QUICKLY! What a nice change from most rental properties!

Amazing - Spacious House in a Great Location
Exactly as listed. The Sandcastle is very spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated in a beach theme. Karl is an amazing host and was fantastic with responding to all questions before and during the trip. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again.

College Reunion
Beautiful property as pictured. Best property manager I’ve experienced after many VRBO rentals. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We didn’t use pool or fire pit but both looked great. Elevator a must convenience. Would definitely rent again.

Scenic, relaxing vacation
The property had plenty of room, comfortable beds, and close proximity to the beach. It was the perfect place to get away and relax with family. It was also close to stores and great restaurants. The heated pool was an added bonus.

This home was absolutely beautiful warm and welcoming. The owners were fantastic with communication and we were made to feel like family. Incredible wedding weekend
We were married in Atalaya castle over the weekend and our wedding party stayed at the house, there was 12 of us. Property and home were incredible, communication with Karl was impeccable and they were extremely accommodating. Would highly recommend

Everything you see in the pictures is 100% accurate and the communication was very impressive along with the wonderful accommodations. Im definitely booking again and i love everything about this experience. Highly recommend this location for adults and for families as well. The house was very nice and kept clean. We only had trouble with the elevator but that was because we weren't sure how to use it but once we figured it out, it was easy. Karl always answered all our questions and very quickly. He was very accommodating. We had a great time. The beach was very easy to access. The neighborhood was family friendly.

Beautiful spacious house in great location
The Sandcastle is very spacious and beautifully decorated in a beach theme. With 6 BR and 5.5 Bath, there was plenty of room for our 3 generational family of 11. Bedrooms have decks with comfortable chairs facing the front or back of the house. Well equipped kitchen with lots of prep area on the counters and island. There was plenty of seated dining space for everyone. Multiple TV's throughout the house and comfortable oversized L-shaped couch in the main LR, as well as a 4-person game table. The inground pool was a hit with everyone - especially our teens. It was surrounded with lots of chairs and loungers. There were plenty of pool toys, beach toys, and beach chairs available to borrow. Access to the beach is right across the street and was very convenient. The property owner was very responsive to questions and checked in with us via text to make sure we were happy and enjoying our time there. It was a very pleasant and relaxing experience for us, and our family looks forward to vacationing at The Sandcastle again. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

Perfect house with the most helpful owner!
We just got back from a week long stay here and are already planning on re- booking next year. The house was beautiful,even better in person. It was very clean and had everything needed. The heated pool was perfect and always warm. What set this property apart was the owners constant communication with us. From the check in process,us needing extra towels,an extra trash can for the outside because we filled them up pretty quickly. He even came and put the trash out for us on trash night,we absolutely would have,but didn't have to because it was handled already. Really was just an awesome guy! Enjoyed our stay so much and will absolutely stay again.

Great for 2 families and grandparents!
We stayed with 6 adults and 4 kids under 4. Had a great time! The pool was super warm. The beach was a short walk away. The owner was super responsive and helpful. They provided booster seats and step stools for the kids. The house was very clean. The grill is charcoal though, so be prepared to do some work to grill. We enjoyed going to the Brookgreen Gardens and Low Country Zoo. We also liked the playground at Fuller Park, next to the library in Surfside Beach. There's also tennis courts there too.

Fantastic home for large families
This property is the best we’ve stayed at in the Myrtle Beach area. We had a large group of all ages and everyone was well accommodated and had a great time. The home was very clean and well maintained. The street was quiet and just a short walk to the ocean. Karl was great and very responsive to any questions we had.
