Come stay at our 2,000sf, newly renovated, Beachwood Barnhouse! Enjoy a short walk to Pere Marquette State Park, Kruse Park and Beachwood Park. Clean and very well equipped
Staying for just a long weekend we found this place to be a wonderful fit for our family of five. The place is so clean with all the amenities well organized, down to clearly marked signs and labels to help instruct and locate. The beach is just a short walk along with a very nice Public park down the street.

Better than we imagined
Perfect house,.., The moment you walked through the door it was an “ahhh” moment. House was decorated extremely nice, but also very comfortable. Very clean and every thing seemed new. Amazing stay in Muskegon!
We stayed at this property for a family reunion in Muskegon in July 2024. It is within walking distance to the beach, immaculately kept and very well supplied, and extremely comfortable. The hosts have clearly devoted much time, energy, and care to a careful renovation and update of this beautiful home. You won't be dissapointed!

Beautiful home and neighborhood
First time visiting Muskegon, great home and location. Walkable to 2 beaches and a park. House is top notch with details down to fluffy beach towels, beach chairs/umbrella and wagon, special soaps in bath rooms, full kitchen utensils, etc. Owners were great with info and communication. Definitely would stay here again with our family of 4.

Lovely house near the lake
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is extremely nicely decorated and well appointed with everything you need to enjoy a vacation, both inside and outside. We were six adults, and the property will comfortably sleep 7 in real beds, with 3 folks in one room together (family or close friends). The table nicely accommodated all of us both for meals and for games. Also, having a half bath on the lower level was very convenient, and parking for multiple cars in the driveway was very nice for a three-couple stay. The neighborhood was pleasantly quiet with not too much traffic nearby, but the location was convenient near groceries, restaurants, and other needs. The short walk to the beach, and availability of beach towels, umbrella, and beach chairs made it easy to enjoy the local area. The entryway with the laundry room was a great spot to kick off shoes, hang up the keys/jackets, and not track sand or other things into the house. We had a very pleasant time! I'm happy to recommend this lovely place and would definitely stay there again!

Beach Getaway
We had a wonderful stay with plenty of room for the 7 of us!! Walked to the beach in the evenings, dined at the Deck, kayaked at Happy Mohawk Livery! The coffee setup perked us up in the mornings and they had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! The upstairs is warmer compared to main floor but the hosts have fans in each room which hekp make for a comfortable sleep!

Clean home, as described.
House was very clean & nicely updated. There were little soaps & lotions in the bathroom. There was soap for the kitchen & washer. There was a small yard w porch swing & fire pit. We even had a deer sleeping in the back yard on the first night. Expensive, It is on a corner, & there is a bit of traffic noise, but great place overall. I would stay there again.

Hidden Gem!
I don't know how well known Muskegon is, but it's really a beautiful part of the country and has an amazing beach. Its proximity to Silver Lake and Grand Haven are a huge bonus as well. This vacation home was clearly just finished with lots of care and attention to detail. It was one the best VRBO's I've ever stayed in. The owners provided a lot of the basics that just make your life easier (like basic spices and condiments). The home was really spacious and we had lots of fun playing cards around the table. The small firepit was also perfect for one of our evenings to make smores. The finishings in the home were all top notch. We enjoyed the beach chairs and toys in the garage. The owners really thought of everything. The walk to the "dog beach" was short and sweet. You'll have to go down a fairly significant sand dune, which was fine for us, but would be harder for people with mobility issues. There is another walk through the neighborhood that you can walk to get to the boardwalk which would be an easier walk. We did walk along the beachfront all the way to "The Deck". It was about a mile and half walk. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here!
