The area is beautiful and mostly quiet.
The staff at the resort were all nice. Beautiful view of the lake from a nice sized deck. There are no steps but a ramp, which was nice as well.
The cons:
The place was clean-ish. The ceiling fan was so full of dust and cobwebs, we couldn’t turn it on to circulate the A/C. There were cobwebs in some corners of the entire place. We had to wash the supplied utensils before we used them as there was grease and crusted food on them 👎🏼👎🏼
The bathroom is nice but the toilet seat was broken. So we had to be careful when we sat that it didn’t shift!! We had to take the TP off the holder as it was so far behind the seat, it was a pain to reach.
The towels were strange to use.
100% microfiber. Like a sham for a car 😳
Poor use of/wasted space inside. Tiny home but with “normal size” appliances.
No step stool and the dishes on top shelf were really a struggle to get to as I’m not tall. The TV is almost to the ceiling and hard to move to watch it. There should be 2 more curtain panels for the sliding glass door. They do not completely cover that door.
Be sure to bring ice(no ice maker or ice trays available), paper towels, cooking spray, spices, etc as they are not provided.
I think staff should crack down on the young teens zipping around on the roads in the golf carts and causing a stir up of dust. Also, the swimming pool is a recreational pool. I tried to be in the pool for awhile but there was a woman that was doing laps for the longest time! That is not so much a staff fault but a rude woman’s!!
But still … “This Is Not A Lap Pool” would be a good sign addition!!
If you are a single person or just a couple for a night or two, it may be your place.
For two nights here, we paid almost $550, which included a “forced to buy” insurance for damage. In my honest opinion… Not worth that!!
