"Me and my friend stayed in the lodge during our visit to the Lake District and we absolutely loved it! The lodge was beautiful and felt very homey and the views were incredible. "I had a great stay,I booked the unit a day before my arrival and once booked I received all the check in info immediately, no key was needed all acess is through a keypad system which is nice.The unit was very spacious and cozy,I really liked the kitchen set-up,Carlisle is a wonderful city and fun to explore and the apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the train station."

"The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property."

"We loved the lodge. It felt very homely. The park is right at the lake shore. The kitchen was equipped very well. Beds were comfortable and shower powerful. A bonus was the TV with netflix and other apps and good internet connection. We would be back when the weather is warmer. "
