"This location was so beautiful and was perfect for our kids (ages 6 and 9). We enjoyed hearing the stream and the fire, laying in the hammocks, exploring the creek, and watching the horses. The hosts were very attentive. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance."

"Amazing views and the place is as decribed. We enjoyed the location and views very much. Cozy tiny home with beautiful town and privacy, great for bringing a dog. Loved the amount of technology and what was provided. For future bookers, just know that the bathroom situation is definitely rough, which they did warn us of. It is a basic camping toilet without water, so staying for several days and around bugs makes it tough, but right for a camping experience. Other than that everything else was...

"Was very clean and cute. Looks like they are working on adding a kitchenette which would be a great addition. I thought it was 2 bedroom by the pictures but its just a studio apartment with 2 sleeping areas separated by partition but it was very nicely done. I would stay again if I were visiting the area."

"The cabin was fantastic. It was clean and well stocked. The view was great. The bath house was clean. I only have two complaints. The bath house was up a very steep hill. That needs to be included in the description as I’ve had a knee injury and wasn’t prepared for the very steep climb about 100 yards to the bath house. And the heater didn’t work. We could get the pilot light on but it wouldn’t stay on when switching to a heating mode. The cabin is clearly new so just small things to update....

"A spur of the moment trip with my mom turned out to be the perfect spot for a long weekend. This little efficiency is clean, has everything one could need with a fully stocked kitchenette, spacious bathroom, a cozy bed (a double, snuggle up if you're not alone) and a covered patio to enjoy the outside. Convenient to Sparta, NC and Independence/Galax, VA and very near a river access. The owner was very responsive and communication was great. I would definitely choose to stay here again if...

"The property was so cute and everything was so clean! The grounds and the views were breathtaking. We did do the hike up to the top of the hill to enjoy the lookout. It was a little steeper and longer than we anticipated but we'll worth it. What a great little slice of heaven. Hotub was perfect temperature and being able to hangout in the silence of the night was amazing. Would definitely do this again! "

The Roaring River Vineyard also has a restaurant, a lodge with 3 other rooms to rent, hot tub, event hall and a relaxing roaring river. Owner was so nice and made sure we were good and this location is near many other vineyards to visit! Highly recommend! "
