Home sits on large lot with plenty of parking. Private family vacation home for 50 years to the same owners. Wrap-around deck. All fenced and gated. Large, 2-level home. Central heating and air. Big screen TV w/Directv, WiFi. Located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest offering great activities such as boating, wake boarding, water- & jet skiing, swimming, hiking, biking, fishing or relaxing. Shasta Dam, and all of its wonders, is 15 minutes by boat or 20 minutes by auto. The Shasta Caverns are accessible by boat. Dog Creek & the Sacramento River are great for rafting or gold-panning with its sandy beaches and clear water. Shasta Lake waterfront homes are the place to be over the hot summers. All you need is a big hat, sun block, and swim wear. Enjoy a great vacation, as we have for over 50 years.

Great stay
Super fun trip, as the house had everything that our three-generation family and friends needed. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved the view and the ease of cooking in the kitchen. All beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. Our dog enjoyed exploring the property outside. Thanks for a great stay, we would love to come back.

Lake Front Gem
My family and I stayed for about a week and enjoyed this hidden gem. We span from ages 3-60. This property provided something for everyone to enjoy. There was plenty of parking on the premises and the grocery store was a quick 2 minute drive away. The house was extremely clean, communication was smooth, and the lake front access was spectacular. There is nothing like enjoying the hot tub with a lake front view. We all agreed that we would happily book this property again.

BEST RENTAL HOME ON LAKE SHASTA!
This home has everything – beautiful location with easy accessibility to the lake, very clean with lots of room, well-stocked kitchen, more than enough towels and bedding, comfortable beds, views from nearly every room and much more! Also, enough room to seat large groups for meals as there are two large dining tables. It is a very quiet location, and we especially enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the large deck overlooking the lake. Lonnie and Linda (the hosts) are very friendly and accommodating. It was fun speaking with them as they are a multi-generation family who have been in the area for a lifetime. Thank you, Lonnie and Linda, for opening up your home to us! P.S. If you enjoy fun funky restaurants with good food and friendly people, we recommend Klub Klondike.

Incredible Stay!
Had an incredible time in this lakeside home! In my opinion, the place looks better than the pictures portray. - Three bathrooms helped 11 of us get ready quickly. - Kitchen was well equipped. - Sleeping arrangements/rooms were perfect. - Hot tub was great. - Pool was nice. - Ability to paddle board via the backyard was the best. - Location is perfect. Last but not least, Lonnie was/is an incredible communicator. It's unfortunate we didn't get to meet in person - but I'm hoping we can meet the next time we come to Shasta and hopefully rent this home again!

Lake House That Has it All!
We spent 4 days at this Amazing home with 2 families! There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out, we’re never bored with every amenity you could think of, pool, hot tub, corn hole, horse shoes, dart board, pool table, BBQ and more. The kitchen it stocked with anything you might need! Lonnie was always responsive and a great host! We are already planning our trip next summer with our boats!

Wonderful stay in Shasta
The pictures of this property do not do it justice. This vacation home is one of the most well equip and beautiful homes my family has ever stayed. The rooms were very nice. The pool is very large with a nice deep end to it. The hot tub is great. The outdoor grill was huge and worked amazing. The seating outside on patio was very nice as we spent most of the time outside, it was nice to have so much seating. The area was so quiet and peaceful. The lake had dropped significantly when arrive, but were still able to make quick hike down to it from the backyard gate and enjoy the lake. There is a place close by to rent jetskis or boats. we brought lots for floats and rafts to use in the lake. There is a small grocery store near the place that has nearly everything you need, but it's a bit pricey. We drove to Redding (25 min) to go do large grocery shopping. The owner Lonnie was great and very helpful. This is the perfect place to have large family or friend getaway.

Wonderful lake house!
Amazing views with the full lake, enjoyed the time at the house and out on the lake. The house was the best stocked of all the rentals we've been, it had everything you could need. Great communication with the hosts!

Best spot ever!!
This was a beautiful, clean property in a great neighborhood. House was spotless and the hosts were great. We had 4 adults and 5 kids, and had plenty of space to move around. Huge family room, tons of kitchen space and the kids had the whole downstairs to themselves. Tons of clean towels, comfy beds and every dish/pot/pan we could dream of. Will definitely book this place again!

Perfect Vacation House

Absolutely Best House For Family Reunion
Just got home from our annual Shasta family reunion with my children and their spouses. This by far was the best house we have rented at Shasta. It is spacious and perfect for accommodating large families. The amenities were great and well thought out. The trip went absolutely flawless and the location and view from the back porch were breath taking. Highly recommend this house. Will definitely be back.

Great Family Vacation Getaway
We are repeat visitors to this lovely Shasta vacation home, having visited in July 2021 and now in July 2022. That speaks volumes as to how much we enjoy this place. Spacious, clean, well stocked and that pool, oh my, was used plenty during our week stay of 100+ degrees every day. We will stay here again if our travels bring us back to Lake Shasta.

Family Gatherings Dream
The House had an amazing views of the mountains.trees,and a view of the lake. With our large group of younger children and adults. The house has ample room. Multiple dinning areas. The house is a gourmet’s dream. Is is stocked with every kitchen utensils you could ever need. Perfect for Larger families and everyone has plenty of space. The owners were always accessible by phone or text with any questions on the property or location of the area. The house is elegantly decorated in a lake , fishing and duck theme. It has games for the kids with their own big screen TV,and also a big screen TV upstairs. The outside patio has a massive porch to enjoy the morning view of the beautiful trees, old bridge and lake. The kids enjoyed the pool and the shaded table. It was a wonderful fit for a, larger family gathering. The parking was flat enough to park big trucks attached to a trailer with sea doos. We had plenty of room to turn around. Lots of wild life, the boys found frog,and that kept them busy too. It was a short drive for a launch ramp. We had 7 adults and 5 boys 8 and Plenty of room for everyone. It’s child safe for the pool. They did have a safety gate downstairs not to let the kids play on the stairs.

Beautiful home for a large family
This was our second time staying at this property for our family reunion. The house was large enough to accommodate most of the guests and there was a small motel right down the street for the others. We were a little bummed that their was no lake water, however, the pool more than made up for it. Would definitely recommend this property!

Best place in Shasta!
We have rented from Lonnie 4 times now. This is our most favorite house to stay at in Shasta. We look forward to coming to him home every year knowing it’s always clean, well stocked, comfortable and welcoming. I cannot recommend this place more! Gracious Hosts
Lonnie & Linda are simply wonderful. The kind of overly accommodating hosts you would want, but never expect. The house was clean, tidy, organized and easy to find things. There was no leftover food on the shelves, quality kitchenware and basic use items available. The water pressure was very low, but this was due (I'm sure) to an unforeseen circumstance that Lonnie & Linda handled swiftly and courteously. We will definitely be returning. The house is all hard-flooring so if you are a light sleeper or plan to go to bed earlier, I recommend heading downstairs to the quieter bedrooms. We had an infant with us and the master was right next to the kitchen so it made nap-time more difficult, but hey! We were JUST FINE and he learned to sleep through the chatter. Just a happy suggestion for the next crew. Seriously, this is a great house. Enjoy and rest easy, they do great!

Beautiful property and amazing hosts!
This place was great. My family has loads of requirements when we vacation together. We range in ages from infant to my parents who are nearing 70s. My mom has mobility issues and we found the entire cabin to be accessible to her with much ease and allowed her to be a part of everything. We have a dog and a infant and appreciated the fencing of the pool and property. AC worked great on hot days and the pool was great for the kids each day. We made use of the lawn in the front for lawn games too. The host was really communicative and helped us with questions we had about the accessibility and internet. Will stay again!
