"We loved seeing the many furry little wallaby-like Fucous critters around the park. The place was clean and warm. Unfortunately we could not get wifi in the cabin we stayed in which was disappointing. Otherwise we were very happy. The nearby Fox and Hound was described/recommended as "pub food" which I guess it was, but we weren't thrilled with it and found it to be pretty expensive. Port Arthur was exceptional!"

"I liked that it was so close to the Port Arthur Historic Site. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner in the restaurant was really good. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. We paid $12 and only got 2 slices of toast. Very limited cereal selection and no hot food. "

"This place is amazing and is by far one of the best places we have booked and first time with Wyndham . We had 2 Adults , 2 teens and a 10year old and there were activities to cater for them all . The accommodation was clean and tidy and very spacious like staying in your own home . Staff were really friendly and we will definitely be booking our next stay here when we visit Hobart again . "The hosts are passionate about providing an excellent hotel stay. Our room was spacious, had a large window overlooking the neighbourhood and was very well appointed. Breakfast was wonderful - cereals, quiche, variety of breads, variety of fruit, juices, coffee and tea. Cake was offered in the afternoon, even brought to our room if we were out in the afternoon. The hotel was very quiet and the neighbourhood was beautiful and also very quiet. Would highly recommend the hotel."

"Definitely, Best Western is one of the best hotel networks available in Australia, and this one in Hobart follows the same standard. The best value for money, I mean. Our room seemed like brand new, perhaps it was recently refurbished. It was very spacious (fits well 3 people), quite, with a very well-designed toilet and comfortable beds. "The key to the Villa was not under the mat as advised in email and someone else was staying in that Villa anyway. Walked down to the cellar door to get a number for the Contact person as we did not receive a SMS. We were advised to choose another villa to stay in. This took about an hour of our time after arriving from a long day travelling. Needed to empty the dishwasher on arrival. Beautiful setting with wonderful views. Spacious & comfortable. We would stay again."
