"We really liked staying at this charming house. Plenty of room for the five of us and the doggie decor was warm and friendly. Getting to the front porch of the house (via GPS) was a bit of a challenge since Google Maps didn't know that there were footpaths leading to it but once we found it all was perfect!"

"Property was as described just lacking additional information. The property was just as pictured with the exception of access to the bedroom. The steps to the bedroom are very narrow and steep with a difficult landing at the top. Coming down the stairs takes some cautious negotiation as the railing does not go to the top of the stairs. "This is an older farmhouse but has everything our family of 4 adults needed to be cozy, comfortable, and close to family for the holidays. Everything was clean and in good working order. Mike, the host, was responsive with good instructions and communication. Highly recommend!"

"This house was an excellent size for our family of 5. The kitchen had plenty of bowls/plates/cups. It also had a toaster and pots for cooking a light breakfast. The house is older and has more of the “old house charm” than I expected, with lots of character in the walls and staircase. The home was very very clean though! And had lovely hot water. For the price, this was a great option for us. The location was also very convenient. "

Going back to Mount Gretna every evening was much better than a hotel, and the hosts of Butterfly Cottage thoughtful, communicated well and made sure the cottage was clean and well-appointed.
