This Cottage is a hidden gem. You are surrounded by nature and beautiful oak trees, but yet you are only a 4 minute drive to downtown Mt. Dora. So get some action downtown, but come back to relax in this newly renovated Cottage! It was built in 1928 and is located in one of the most charming residential areas of Mt. Dora. It has everything you need to relax, enjoy the town and enjoy nature. Feel like going to town, just hop on your car for 4 minutes or walk for 15 min, and you are there! Don't feel like going out? Well, just hang inside watching your favorite shows or hang out on the screened front porch listening to birds sing. With so many restaurant options in downtown Mt. Dora, there will not be much time for cooking. But in case you decide to stay in, the kitchen comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. We also offer a washer/dryer. The cottage is also only a 2 minute drive away from gas stations, Walgreens, and Publix.

The King size beds features memory foam mattress with Ritz Carlton type mattress topper. Warning!: It might be difficult to wake up in the mornings! : )

We love animals and we are pet friendly! Bring your pooch ( up to 30 lb.) along for the ride. The backyard is completely fenced in so your pooch can roam freely. Most businesses downtown Mt. Dora are pet friendly. There will be a nonrefundable $50 pet fee (per pet). Please keep in mind that all rugs will be removed for guests accompanied by pets.

Great Restaurants in Mt. Dora: Wave, 1921, Copacabana and Back Porch. These are all located 5 min. drive from the Cottage.
For great wine and hanging out: Maggie’s Attic is a nice little bar hang out where you can chill and sip on a glass of wine.
Coffee Shop: Alyson's Bake Shop. Simply the best coffee ever!

There is plenty of parking for up to 2 cars and a boat. You might want to bring your boat with so many lakes around us!
