"The cottage looks as pictured. The two main bedrooms are upstairs and the one bathroom is downstairs which is a bit tricky to find in the middle of the night. Neighborhood is exceptionally quiet and dark at night. Not sure where the beach and boat ramp are. Fireplace heater is lovely. BYO coffee -- no pods provided for even the first day."

"My husband and I, our 3 married children and our grandchildren-ages 10 months to 10 years stayed here for a week- the home was beyond perfect - so much room - 5 bedrooms, but 3 were master bedrooms with balconies - linens, bathrooms beautiful, all kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, beach chairs, a fire pit, and a kayak. Who could ask for more."

"We stayed a week for our annual family vacation (5 adults). The house is very charming and looks small from the front but it was much bigger when going inside. The pool table was a hit for the family. There is also a cornhole board that we used a few times. Its is a quiet location. The fire pit out back was great to use each night for winding down from a busy day. "

"We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. "We had a great week with our kids and grandkids! Plenty of sleeping areas, and large living space for all 12 of us. We would have liked to have a bigger (flatter) lawn area for outdoor games, but the lake certainly made up for it. Host was attentive and responsive. We would stay here again. "

"We had a great stay at this property for a family reunion / 80th birthday - it was perfect for our group. The indoor pool was fabulous for our group as we had six kids who basically lived in the pool all day. So highly recommended but just know what to expect.
