Sweeping lake views and spectacular sunsets are yours from this West-facing, 2-bedroom waterfront home on bridged Black Cat Island.

Nestled on a natural landscape leading to the water, #318 is surrounded by a dense forest of trees on both sides, offering a feeling of total privacy and tranquility.

With classic A-frame architecture and picture windows throughout, the newly remodeled home boasts lots of natural light flowing into every room. Enter through the side entry to an open-concept living and dining area invite relaxation with a sectional sofa, TV, and a 4-6 seat dining table overlooking wooded grounds. Through sliding glass doors, a three season porch boasts wicker furniture and expansive views of the lake.

This modern home also features central air conditioning, a hidden washer and dryer, and a fully equipped galley kitchen with everything you need for home-cooked meals. On cool summer evenings, enjoy dinner outside on the expansive covered porch, located a level just below the main level.

When you’re ready to call it a night, you’ll find comfy beds and crisp linens in two private sleeping areas with accommodations for up to 6 guests:

For adventures off the lake, take advantage of parking for up to three cars to explore nearby shopping and dining. Between the tranquility of the lake, the family-friendly layout and modern amenities, this waterfront home is an ideal escape for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Amazing house and location!
House was beautiful and location is so nice!! The only problem was the alarm kept beeping so maybe I missed instructions on that - as well as the cleaning people sitting in the driveway before the checkout time which makes you feel somewhat rushed. Other than that this is a place I would absolutely stay again!

Property was excellent. Perfect location and all amenities you need. One black mark would be the cleaning crew. Windows covered in dog nose and hand prints. Local needed vacuuming upon arrival as well as window cleaning over looking the lake.

Beautifully renovated. The home is pet friendly and was very clean except alot of dog hair on the fabric sectional sofa. We do not own a pet. Needed to be vaccumed.

Everything about this property was perfect. Beautiful views of the lake with spectacular sunsets. We used the indoor fire stove as the weather was not great all week ! Would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect lakefront retreat
My family and I stayed in late August 2022. We all loved this property including my dog too! An excellent combination of fun and peace was had by all. For me personally I loved the cove, the sunsets, the details of the home with all the beautiful wood finishes, the quietness of the island and best of all the opportunity to jump on my kayak or paddleboard at any moment I wanted too. There is easy access from the dock that worked out great for both my mother, who is in her early 70s, and our dog who loves to swim. Kim from Natural Retreats went above and beyond to take a few extra pictures for me to be sure my mother could get up and down to the lake and in the water. The entire experience was a pleasure and I look forward to returning.

Fantastic vacation home!
Our family had an absolutely amazing time at this property! The house is perfectly situated, slightly away from it all but not so far that it's a chore to get places. Direct access to the lake, amazing views. The little island is beautiful and we enjoyed going for walks and kayaking around it. Beautiful & clean house, very comfortable. Has all the necessities, bath towels and sheets were provided; there is a washer, dryer and AC (which was very much appreciated ). Fully enclosed patio facing the lake with many large windows which, when opened, let a marvelous breeze in off the lake - that was probably my favorite part of the house. Would be great if property allowed for bonfires (not a deal breaker for us but it's something we definitely enjoy). Just a heads up for anyone who might be wondering (as we were) - the property doesn't really have a beach (just a tiny sliver of sand on which my sons still managed to build some sand structures ;) but if you're hoping for a larger patch of sand you won't find it here (though I'm sure it fluctuates somewhat throughout the year and summer as the lake water levels change with seasons, we stayed right at the beginning of August). Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again!!

Amazing quiet, peaceful location with great views and access to lake.
The pictures didn’t truly capture how beautiful this home was! Waking up in the loft to view the lake was breath taking and an amazing way to start the day. Ending the day, included sitting on the porch and watching the sunset. Amazing location for fishing, kayaking and biking and close to great food like Gustos and Cup and Crumb for a coffee and treat! One of the most memorable vacations in a long time!

Wonderful stay
Beautiful home in wonderful location on the lake. Amazing view and great neighborhood for walking. The home was perfect. Management company, Natural Retreats, called a week before check-in to make sure we received check-in info and answer any questions. They were excellent with communication throughout, letting us know that the house was ready for early check in, checked to make sure everything was all good once we arrived, and quickly replied to texts. Kim and Chrissy were great to work with. Would definitely stay at this home again and highly recommend Natural Retreats management company.

Amazing and quiet lakeside property
Overall a great experience. The people before us must have had a dog because there was white dog hair all over, but we vacuumed that up. The pictures of the property don’t do it justice. This lake house is in an amazing location. We had a blast.

House was beautiful and we had a fabulous time. Could’ve been cleaned much better. Cobwebs everywhere. Microwave extremely dirty. Something dripped all down the cabinets under microwave and grill was disgusting dirty. Grease trap full and overflowing. Small things but do matter. Overall though it was a great experience and we would definitely go back.
