"The house was as described and Dauphin Island is unadorned and basic. Bring what you need and plan to just relax. No flashing lights but the people are very nice. No night life but a casual and restful place to spend a few days. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable."

"My husband and I absolutely loved this house. We had plenty of room for others, but needed this time for ourselves since we were celebrating our 26th anniversary. We sat on the covered back porch with coffee, fished off the private covered pier, and walked along the bay looking for shells. We had perfect weather! This cottage is a perfect getaway. If you fish and you do not have a boat it is very shallow here. I wish it had been a little deeper but that did not prevent us from giving this...

"We were very pleased with our visit to Dauphin Island and the property that we had rented. When we arrived, there was a little problem with the house we had originally rented. The owner resolve the problem quickly by offering us the property next door which was larger and right on the beach."

Check in and check out details were not provided, so had to contact the owner and wait for a response when we arrived and did not know what was expected of us upon leaving. "My wife and I stayed at Sea Dreams this past week. The overall experience was great. Mrs. Smith was an excellent host. She almost "over communicated " lol. We had some very small issues that were resolved quickly and or explained. For example the garbage disposal was not working...not a big deal for my wife and I.
