I was concerned that the neighborood on the dock might be a whoop-it-up loud all-night-long kind of party crowd (and I am VERY boring), but everyone was going-out-of-their way charming and kind. "My wife and I stayed at this quiet and peaceful little farmhouse over the weekend. We could not be more happy with the property. The house itself is well maintained and updated. The owners ensure all your needs are met with everything from fresh towels and linens to coffee and everything you might need to prepare and eat a meal. "Having never been in Iowa before it was such a pleasure to spend a very short, unfortunately, time in charming Le Claire. This home is very comfortable and well maintained. It is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood close to the freeway. I wish we’d had time to stay another night or two. The sheets were nice as was the bed. These are thoughtful hosts that even provided for forgotten toiletries. Loved it!"
