"My partner and I came by train from Los Angeles. Meanwhile my son and his familydrove from Atlanta. We met there in New Iberia where my son grew up. The location was ideal, the lodgings delightful, and Mickey was a most attentive host. My son was allowed to bring his dog, a 14 year old mix breed and that relieved a lot of stress for the family. "We stayed here for 2 nights after hurricane Francine and while we had no power the entire time, it was great. Justin and Alana are very responsive. We booked very close to our stay and had to make changes because of the hurricane and they did what they could to accommodate us. The location is convenient but not walkable, however we weren't expecting it to be. Everything worked out in the end!"
