This comfortable, intimate and informal home is located on a dead-end street in a quiet, historic neighborhood. Your home away from home is conveniently located, 6 miles from Gardner-Webb University, 3 miles from Duke Energy,10 minutes from Facebook Data Center, 10 minutes from Rutherford County Rail-to-Trail, 20 minutes from Tryon Equestrian Center, and half an hour from Spartanburg, one hour from Asheville, Charlotte and Greenville, SC. This home is suitable for families who need affordable, flexible, convenient and safe lodgings. Cleaning guidelines issued by CDC are followed and EPA registered antibacterial agents are used throughout home and on all services, including doorways, furniture, windows, and blinds.

Disappointing
I have stayed at this property before, but this time, I was very disappointed. The kitchen sink wasn't working, the grass and shrubs were completely overgrown, and there was even a dirty pan in the oven. I contacted the host. He said the faucet couldn't be fixed until next week, and he never mentioned the yard. He ignored both my messages and VRBOs. Do not recommend.

Cute Rural Home
We were visiting to visit our daughter while she worked the summer for the Forest City Owls and this home was only 15-20 minutes from the stadium and downtown Forest City. The home itself was cute and clean. There was only one shower in the Primary Bedroom so the 5 of us just had to be respectful of times in the shower but it was super clean. The owner was polite and great. We had a small snafu with the 2nd-floor central air but he had somebody over within the hour and the microwave was having an issue and they brought a new one over the next day we let him know so the owner truly cares about making your stay enjoyable. He even brought us donuts on the first morning of our stay! The upstairs was huge with its own private bathroom with a bathtub. Two televisions on the property (Living Room and Upstairs Bedroom). The two bedrooms on the first floor do not have them but by the end of our vacation days didn't really need them. The screen porch was great to sit out either in the morning or at night to enjoy coffee or a drink plus it had 2 ceiling fans in it so a breeze was never an issue. You are between 15-30 minutes from the larger towns. We would stay again and would recommend it to others who are looking for a family stay or perhaps 2-3 couples wanting a place to stay to enjoy time together.

Perfect for traveling with little one!
We travel often with our 16 month old babe and there are often too many 'things' for her to get into to allow us to unpack and cook dinner etc. We had everything we needed and there weren't baby level breakable items/ piles of stuff of her to get into which makes travel just a little easier :) Everything was as described and as pictured. There is a large upstairs space that would be great for kids/ another couple to have their own space if traveling with others outside your family. The master bedroom and bathroom have plenty of space and the 'guest' bedroom was spacious as well with enough room for us to set up a pack and play. We cooked most meals in the home and had all utensils we needed. There is a Dollar General walking distance from the property if you need/ forget anything. We headed into downtown Boiling Springs which was pretty much a straight shot down a single road and about 6 miles away. Checking in and out was simple: key code on the door/ pile up the sheets and towels and put the trash in the bins behind the house. Thank you again for sharing your home! We expect to stay again in the future when visiting family.

Awesome stay with limited hiccups
Property was very nice, owners were awesome to deal with, we however had a few mishaps. Water reassure in kitchen sink was not good at all, stove caught on fire because of a build up of grease underneath the burner, kitchen light needed to be removed by us because it flickered constantly, can opener did not work so we had to go buy another one. These are easy things to fix our overall stay was very nice!

Home away from home!
Johnny was an amazing host and we throughly enjoyed staying at his property! The house was clean and updated. It was cozy and felt like home because of the everyday amentities, like laundry and a full kitchen that you would find in your own home. Looking forward to going back!

Cute house in a quiet neighborhood
This house was the perfect place for my husband and me to spend Labor Day weekend away from home. We had plans to attend in Shelby, NC and this house was just a hop, skip, and a jump away. The house was clean, the beds comfy, and the host was super responsive and helpful. If we make this trip again in the future, we will definitely stay here again !

Trail Ride alternate living quarters-Close to Gardner Webb College
If you are ever in this area for trail rides and don't have a RV, or you don't want to sleep under the stars, well this is a great quite place to go to after the hustle of the trail ride events. about 1 mile away, great area, great owners. And if you like donuts, they blessed me with some great donuts, just in time for my morning coffee. Easy access location and everything in the description is right on. Also close to Gardner-Webb College

This house was super cute! Spacious and clean and a awesome place that can serve as a homebase for many North Carolina/South Carolina day trips within an hours drive. The host went above and beyond, with great communication and a few amazing extra treats! 🙂

26 minutes to TIEC
Although it’s not as close as other cabins it is definitely an easy drive. Would rather drive the extra miles than go shorter distance on curvy dark roads. Cabin was clean and spacious. Well appointed kitchen. Will come Back. Only problem is that there is only one shower in the house. Second full bath is a bathtub and doesnt have a mirror which makes it hard for multiple people to get ready to go.

Pleasant and comfortable for our short visit
This house was very clean and well equipped and the photos in the listing portray it accurately. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. We couldn't get the WiFi to work until we realized the internet router was turned off. That was an easy fix. The washing machine control knob is broken and we did figure out how to make it work but it should be fixed. The water pressure in the kitchen is low but great in the shower. Except for these few minor issues everything else was excellent. Overall we highly recommend this vacation home.

Relaxing and clean!
Stayed 2 nights while in town for a Memorial service. House was very nice and clean! Owners responded to emails promptly. Real lo y enjoyed our time on the screened in porch. Will definitely be staying there again when we are in the area!
