Polly's Bonnet Shop Family Spa Cottage

Georgeous 1860's cottage for 2 people or up to 6.

Circa 1860's Polly's Bonnet Shop is a lovely romantic getaway. If romance isn't your thing, why not just come for a weekend away after a long hard week at work, or bring the family for a little getaway.

Come and share in a little piece of Moonta's history!

Cottage features:
3 bedrooms: 1 x queen, 1 x double, 1 x bunk beds (comfortably sleeping up to 6 guests)

Spacious living room with TV & DVD player
Formal dining room
Eat in cottage kitchen overlooking a leafy & peaceful outdoor area
BBQ
Outdoor setting
Fully fenced secure yard for pets & children
Swing set out the back if you are bringing little ones with you
Porta cot avalable if required

Electric log fire in lounge & 2 bedrooms

WHAT TO BRING:
ALL LINEN & TOWELS - top & bottom sheets, pillow cases & towels. We supply all quilts, covers and pillows (Bring your own pillow if you just cant sleep without it!)
Porta cot available - you will need to supply all bedding for the cot - we do provide a cot quilt

Heritage style bathroom with shower over bath tub (spa bath).

Polly's is run on Solar Power.

PET POLICY:
Pets are welcome as long as advised prior to you arriving to the property. We prefer pets to be outside, not inside. However if inside, we DO NOT allow pets to sleep on the beds or furniture. If pet hair is found inside the property extra cleaning fees will be incurred.

What's To Do?

Walking distance to nearby shops, hotels & eateries. Take the Heritage Trail walk, it starts across the road in Queen's Park and Polly's is number 3 on the trail.

Only a 2 minute drive to the safe, sandy beaches of Moonta Bay.

Just a few blocks away is Apex Park (walking distance), great for BBQ's, kids playground with little kids bike track - complete with road signs etc. So bring the kids & their bikes and get out and about and enjoy what Moonta has to offer.

Take a step back in time & visit the many heritage activities in the area.

Come for the Cornish Festival.

Just simply come to relax & unwind!

Loved everything about , just wasn't aware there was nothing supplied little things like dishwashing liquid, salt ,pepper , extra tea towels etc

Was ok but it did not state in email that we needed linen so had to buy some. No hair-dryer. Room with brass bed smelled of body odour or cat wee so could not sleep in that room. Electric fire in lounge did not work. Toilet leaks.

The cottage is beautiful and welcoming, very comfortable, very clean, great location. our weekend weather was perfect and enjoyed a great family BBQ.

We have stayed at this cottage a few times and absolutely love it - the only thing missing is a dvd player so we played board games which was great. We love the convenience of walking through the Queens Park into the Main Street. Nice safe enclosed back garden for our little dog.

Characterful cottage in a scenic location close to cafes and shops. Lovely for a short break, the cottage has all the amenities you could need - comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, fabulous shower and spa and a bonnet for every occasion.

A great little house, we loved all the history. Very clean & perfect for the whole family, even our little dog. We loved that lt was so close to the Main Street offering everything at walking distance. Look forward to returning soon :)

We love staying at Polly’s bonnet shop and we will stay again - there is one tiny detail which we will remember next time - we wanted to watch a DVD but there is no cable to connect the DVD player to the TV - next time we will bring an HDMI cable as the cable at the cottage is the wrong one. No biggie as we took board games with us 😁

Needs a though spring clean Oven fans lights dim skirtings doors mould in kitchen cupboards. Fridge. Aircon vents filthy. Spa is not clean Toilet seat nearly off. Good hot water garden very nice. Beds not up to standard uncomfortable. The present cleaner does their best.

Fantastic property! Well appointed, clean, and cosy. We weren’t cold at all. Just keep the doors shut while the heaters are on. Will come back!

We last stayed in Polly's a number of years ago but always found it cozy, clean and dog friendly, our recent stay was no different, its still cozy clean and in a great location for coffee at the cafe and dinner at the pub all within a short walking distance, Fantastic that its dog friendly, Thank you Debbie & Robert. A fabulous little cozy cottage to holiday in.

We booked last minute for school holidays as we had an international student staying with us. We needed to ensure we had separate rooms however didn’t want to go too big as there was only 3 of us. It was easy to do the booking, a short drive from Adelaide and was quite suited to our needs once we got in there. I would be happy to book again and have already been sharing our enjoyable experience with others.

Had everything we needed and spa was great. Weather was hot outside but house was cool. No complaints here will be back. Perfect position as great park across the road to walk the dog and there were markets on Sunday.

Polly’s Bonnet was such an amazing house and was just perfect to hold our Christmas Day family get together there. The home has history and the location could not have been better. A beautiful park across the road, awesome walking track that was dog friendly a couple a small blocks walk away and the Main Street with coffee shops, supermarket and anything else you’d want within a short stroll. The backyard was secure and perfect for our fur babies. A short drive to Port Hughes and Moonta Bay beaches. Highly recommend staying there. Loved our stay.
