"Overall amazing experience! We will definitely consider it for future getaways! The pool is so nice in the chilly October weather and the beds are super comfortable. There wasn’t much extra toilet paper, paper towels, or trash bags so definitely bring your own. Great location, there are 2 grocery stores within a 10 min drive and lots of restaurants."

"This house was even better than advertised. Our large multi-generational family was at SML for my son’s wedding and this house provided everything we were looking for. Especially loved the large open floor plan with multiple gathering areas on the main floor, basement level as well as outside on the porches and patios. The heated pool, hot tub and paddle boards provided plenty of fun for the younger ones. Highly recommend this house!!"

"One star less as there are lot of scopes for improvement... 1. One of the major reasons why we booked due to the arcade game since we have kids in the family. However it ended up working. Host did tried to triage as much as they can but no luck. 2. The main floor TV need to be a smart TV. I am not sure what percentage of the population only rely on cable in current generation. "What a beautiful place to stay! The hosts were incredible and loved that every evening they had the fire-pit ready to go with logs available for our evening night cap under the stars. "The property is very nice, well maintained and set up nice for guest. Very nice location, perfect boat docking setup and well maintain docks. I took a 24' bay boat, dock was perfect for a boat that size. Of the few houses I have rented at Smith Mountain Lake for a few days fishing at other houses in the past, Dockside Daze will now be my go-to for Smith Mountain Lake trips."

"We loved the house, it was very comfortable. The pool was for sure a hit. Kitchen was completely stocked with all the essentials. Very comfortable beds. Overall a great home. The incline to the lake was a bit much, but we did get to experience a family of deer to watcha nd enjoy during our walks to the lake. Than you for sharing your home with us."
