This cottage is small and cozy and has beautiful views of green pastures. 2 fox kits came out to frolic in front of the cottage each morning, their den must be nearby. This cabin is perfect for a lone traveler or a couple."

"This is a classic cabin in a great location. It has beautiful views of the lake from multiple rooms and decks. The proximity to the boardwalk is convenient, though it comes with the lights and noise of a busy parking lot on Saturday nights. We enjoyed "people-watching" from the porch and firepit. "The cabin was the perfect way to spend a weekend getaway. The views at sunrise and sunset were to die for. It was just as nice spending time in the cabin as it was hiking in Shenandoah and exploring nearby Orange. The entire weekend was such a nice escape from the city. "Clean bedrooms and bathrooms (just iron spots on sinks). Well stocked kitchen, good wifi, nice location, not many steps to the dock. A suggestion: please clean gutters, some deck is getting rotten where water runs down. Also sweep steps and decks once in a while, they get slippery with wet leaves. We had a wonderful, memorable time!"

"Nice spot to host our Thanksgiving weekend. House was large enough for the 9 of us. Basement is fun for kids with games, ping pong and a movie screen. They had a popcorn maker but did not supply any packets for the machine. Tons of games and movies, we loved the outdoor fire pit. Our only complaint was the condition of the carpet up stairs, lots of stains, found several dishes and utensils that were not clean and the washing machine does not work. Despite that we would definitely stay here...
