"Was stationed at the air force base 40 years ago. Never knew Echo Lake existed. Finding this cabin, on a lake, across from Aroostook State Park was amazing. Even the neighbor was so friendly. It was just the two of us this time. Would love to bring family back to this property as it could house all of us. Fall colors were just kicking in. No eagle sighting in the nest, maybe next time. Special place to stay and location was perfect to return to at the end of each days activities."

"My wife and I booked this cabin to watch the April 8th, 2024 total solar eclipse. This was one of the best vacation decisions of our life, we thought we may have to hike a bit, but we were so pleased we could see it right from the deck of the cabin. "House is quaint. Enjoyed the wood stove after sitting on the deck playing games on a beautiful autumn day. One brave soul even took the paddle board out around the nearby island to get sunset pictures. Our host was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again if ever in Northern Maine.
