• Master Bedroom: king bed & ensuite bathroom with a full bathtub
• 2nd Bedroom: queen bed & ensuite bathroom with a shower
• 3rd Bedroom: queen bed. There is a half bath across the room
• Living Area: sofas, decorative fireplace & smart TV
• Solarium: glass-enclosed sunroom that extends from the living area
• Kitchen: brand-new & fully equipped. Extras - blender, island & dining table
• Outdoor Area: backyard, furnished deck, BBQ grill & large driveway with basketball net

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
• Pets can be accommodated upon request for $287.50/stay for 1 dog
• Please note that this home may not be the best fit for guests with reduced mobility, as it features stairs both inside and outside, as well as access to the lake via stairs.
• Keep your clothes clean with our washer/dryer located in the basement
• Guests can park up to 4 cars in the driveway [no garage access]
• Please note that to provide host and guest liability and damage protection, you will receive a secure link upon booking to complete a virtual check-in through a guest portal. A pre-authorization of $500 USD will be held on your credit card 7 days ahead of check-in, through to check-out.

Nice Relaxing Stay
The property is just like it says. Inside worked really well for my family. Quite a hike up and down to the water but we used multiple climbs as a workout. The deck on the bluff was unbelievable for sunsets with a cold beverage in hand. Nice secluded beach where we only saw one other couple during the four days we were there. Not much nearby but that wasn’t the reason we vacationed there .

Nice beach…a lot of steps down
Nice little house, great backyard about 15 minutes from Whitehall and Silver Lake. 251 steps down to the beach, but once you’re there, it is beautiful and uncrowded. Our dogs loved it.

Great place to stay on the shores of Lake Michigan
Great location. Secluded beach was very nice. Well equipped for cooking and dining. This is a great place to stay for an extended family. The only negative would be that the living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable..

Quiet Lake Michigan retreat
We spent a chilly, rainy week at the cabin and still had a great time. The steps up and down to the lake are a lot, but are exactly as described in the posting. We had no troubles using them even in the rain. Everything was clean and ready for us to use when we arrived.

Weekend stay
We had a wedding near the property and wanted to stay together instead of at hotel. Property allowed that to happen. Place was clean and well updated. Had a small issue with the furnace and owners were quick with response. Great stay and great people. Thank you for allowing us to share your home. TTCoy

Much needed getaway
This was such a relaxing, quick little getaway. The view of Big Blue was amazing and the house was nestled in a very quaint, country setting. The amenities were perfect and the house was stocked with all the essentials needed. There is nothing more relaxing than cooking dinner in the kitchen or grilling outside all while overlooking Lake Michigan. Highly recommend. Be careful driving on those country roads as you never know when a deer will jump out out of nowhere (as I experienced). Basically, leave your Chicago driving habits in Chicago. The pictures describe this home perfectly. Wonderful mini-vacation.

Montague Getaway
We enjoyed our stay but had a few issues. Upon arrival, it would have been good to know that you needed to push the “check” button after the 4 digits and that was not in the email. The screen door to go outside was off the track and would not move upon arrival. My husband had to remove the screen from outside so we could go outside. It would have been nice if there had been screens in all of the windows so that we could open the windows. The main floor tub/shower could have been cleaned much better than it was. The tub mat should have been lifted and not in the tub and the rugs next to all of the beds need to have grippers on them so you don’t slip and fall when you step on them especially when you get out of bed in the middle of the night. The plug to the left of the couch did not work. There was minimal salt and pepper in the shakers and we needed to use them. We are used to having a welcome basket and instructions as to what to do w/towels, sheets, garbage etc upon leaving so that would have been nice. The master bedroom upstairs would have surely benefited from some room darkening or any kind of blinds/shade rather than just one sheer curtain. We really needed a getaway and we did enjoy our getaway, but we don’t feel that it was accurately represented on the Vrbo listing. The drop off just beyond the chairs outside was not mentioned in the listing. It is not a 4 min drive to the beach and the restaurants/markets listed are not close by any means.

Summer Vacation on Lake Michigan
The inside of the house was absolutely perfect, very nice clean and updated. The outside of the house and landscape did need some work. Steel beams in middle of yard should not be there, could have been dangerous if we had young children with us. The basement did get a lot of water in it but someone came right away to fix so that was not an issue for us. We were disappointed that the lake was not as accessible as we thought it would be because of the massive amount of stairs to get to the lake but that was our own fault for not paying better attention to the listing and reviews, But the view was amazing!!! Thank you for a wonderful week we had!!

Lovely
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! The view of Lake Michigan was lovely! The steps down to the beach were 251, 2 of us counted, so a bit daunting if you have an infant and so not really set up for young ones. Same with the deck at the bluff, great for adults but not so much for little ones. A few other things, the master bedroom door does not close completely, so privacy could be a problem, and a few other little details from the renovation that probably need to be corrected but overall I would highly recommend this lovely property and would consider staying again. You will need to bring your own bath soap for the showers/bath but everything else was provided including hangers. Next time we need to stay without a family reunion so we have more time to enjoy the beach and outdoors.

Clean with a nice beach and a great view with alot of privacy. However does have alot of stairs going to the beach. If you dont want to take the stairs its a short 4 min car ride to beach access.

Lake Michigan at its Finest
We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Michigan Property. The interior of the house has been updated very nicely. The steps down to the amazing Lake Michigan beach were so nice to have access to. The exterior seemed like it is still a work in progress, but didn't cause any disappointment to us. A very affordable destination to enjoy the very best of what Michigan has to offer.

Summer '23 Lake House Trip
Beautifully renovated home with breath taking views of Lake Michigan. Perfect for an adult getaway with friends or family. Location of the house is ideal to roam to Silver Lake, Little Sable Point Lighthouse, and variety of farm stands. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Lake Michigan Home
This is a beautifully re-done home on a bluff above Lake Michigan. Very nice remote location with a big private yard. Home sits above the beach which is spectacular! Beach is accessible via access down a brand new staircase....250 steps (we counted!) Easy to go down, harder to go up:) House has plenty of room to spread out. Nice, big kitchen and outdoor eating space. Excellent WIFI. I would suggest guests bring hangers as there are closets, but no hangers or dressers in the bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again!
