"The property was clean and accurately represented in the listing. The water in the pond was very clean and pleasant for swimming. Lots of space for 6 people, well stocked with towels etc. and some very nice kayaks with paddles in good shape. The pond and neighborhood are very quiet. Fireflies all over & very dark skies for stargazing. I would say that the only two things I would have liked to have known in advance are 1) the internet is quite slow, zero cell svc, we did manage to stream Netflix...

"The property is located on a private road several miles outside Greenville in a secluded grove of trees. It has a lovely fire pit and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the splendor of nature. There are neighboring cabins, but they cant be seen or heard. The cabin is perfect. It is well appointed and modern, while retaining the woodsy cabin feel. We would gladly stay there again if we return to Moosehead Lake."

"This house is all it is advertised to be and more! Very spacious yet cozy. There is surprise bonus room. We had a couple of other surprises. There is no overhead lighting, but ample table lamps. Washer is on the main level but the dryer is in the basement. (Maybe I'm just from FL and this is a common thing?) Anyway, this home truly had everything you could want and much, much more. "The house was lovely. Super clean and neat. Location was perfect. Right on Moosehead Lake and seconds from the town - Greenville. The host gave us great dinner recommendations and net net, it was a wonderful stay."

"Our family stayed during the 2024 Eclipse, and we enjoyed an amazing experience in a beautiful location! Pros: excellent location right on the lake, well-stocked kitchen with relatively sharp knives (unusual for a rental!), great communication with the local agent, easy check-in and check-out. "Was a great trip. Photos of the unit are very accurate. What they don’t show is you are directly across from the lake and walking distance to a few nice restaurants/pub. The unit was well appointed with all you need to cook and meal prep. Went there to hike Gulf Hagas,but found there was a lot more to do. Will be heading back to do that."

"Relaxing stay! We enjoyed our week at this cabin. We loved using the canoe and the availability of the fire pit. It did get pretty hot inside. The coolest we got it was 74 at night which is still pretty warm for what we are used to in the house but we made it work. We had to contact the property manager for an issue with the lockbox code which was resolved very quickly. Thank you for a nice stay!"
