"My daughter, my mother & myself had a great end of summer getaway at The Hemlocks. It was a perfect time for us ladies to enjoy the outdoors and nature with some much needed relaxation. The cabin and location was perfect. We would definitely return to this little cabin gem in the future. "

"This was a really nice cabin. We definitely enjoyed our time there. It was pretty hard to find in the dark on arrival day. Otherwise it was great!"

"It was the perfect size for my husband and I. I think any more people would be crowded. The bedrooms are very small and the bed was not comfortable. We fished off the dock a caught a lot of fish. The neighbors are closer than we expected (with barking dogs) which was an inconvenience at times. It’s not the properties problem i understand that. The driveway is very tight and would not fit a trailer. Overall it’s a cute little cabin!"

"It is a cute, cozy cabin. Beds were comfy. Obviously loved by a family for many years and now shared with the public. Very close to the water which was nice. Very private and secluded. No towns very close (that we found), meaning few restaurants, bars, bakeries, etc. We saw eagle, loon, but not a lot. Fishing from the dock was fun, we caught several. Scenery was beautiful. "

"The cabin was perfect for our weekend stay. The location was nice. The cabin was secluded in the woods and was close to town. We even went ice fishing right off the property. It was easy to get ahold of the owner and the owner made sure we enjoyed our stay. As well, the check-in was easy. The only downside of the cabin was that there was items in the fridge, drawers, and around the cabin that made it seem like someone was living there. This gave us less room for our things. If that is something...

"Everything, from communication with Wendy to the clean and cozy cabin made us feel very welcome. Everything we needed was there and we couldnt ask for a better host and location. Wendy did everything to make our stay perfect. We can't wait to go back!"

"We spent the week with 4 kids & 3 adults and it was absolutely perfect. They had everything we could need - including outdoor/indoor kids toys & games. The stairs down to the dock were a little scary at times but are fine if you take your time! We definitely recommend and will hopefully come back next summern"
