The Space:
The Deep Creek Sunset by Tiny Away is the ultimate tiny house Victoria escape in Monegeetta, nearby Mount Macedon, Hanging Rock Winery, Holgate Brewhouse, Camels Hump- Hanging Rock, and Hanging Rock Summit Walk are a few of the recommended attractions our vacationers enjoy.
It's the perfect off-grid experience of approx. 157 square feet complete with a well-equipped kitchenette, pot-bellied stove, queen-sized bed up in the loft, and a couch on the ground floor. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water through using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Keep in mind that there may be other residences on the property that guests will rent out, so you may run into them when roaming around the property.
As an added note, we would like to remind guests that this is a limited solar-powered tiny house. To ensure a steady supply of energy, we recommend to conserve energy during the day and only use it when necessary. Overall, minimal consumption is advised to prevent power outages when using solar power.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and the surrounding areas, including the front garden and tennis court. Additionally, we would like to remind guests that this is a 155-square-foot tiny home that promotes sustainable living in nature.

The Neighborhood:
Deep Creek Sunset by Tiny Away sits in the quiet suburbs of Monegeetta, on the easternmost point of the beautiful Macedon Ranges. The ideal tiny house Victoria escape best known for its expansive native forests, iconic geographical attraction, and artisan food, and wine industries. There is also a good swimming area down the creek.
Our local recommendation:
- Kuzu Izakaya is a Japanese restaurant that is a mix of traditional Izakaya staples.
- Camels Hump is the ideal location for hiking while enjoying the beautiful views of Hanging Rock.
- Verdure Bistro is a highly recommended restaurant for brunches as they offer delicious food and coffee.
- Holgate Brewhouse is a family-owned brewery in Woodend that serves traditionally crafted beers since 1999.
- Hanging Rock is a pram-friendly walking path weaved through the reserve, allowing close access to flora and fauna. Hanging Rock Winery and Hanging Rock Summit Walk are two of the best attractions to visit.

By public transport: Southern cross station to Clarkefield station (about 10 mins away). You can arrive by taxi or arrange for us to pick you up at the station.

- Solar-powered; small fan is provided
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please be advised that we have cattle on our property
- There will be an extra $30 cleaning fee if you plan to bring your pet
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Guests are advised to bring portable power banks in case of low power
- Guests are also advised to save energy to avoid running out of electricity
- Please take note that outdoor fire pits are not available during the fire season
- Please charge your phone and electronics in advance in case of low-light days
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
