"We enjoyed the property very much. Checking was pleasant with Caithriona seeing to everything! The property was recently remodeled from old farm house to modern farm house. The surrounding green fields had sheep, cows and bunny rabbits running around. We had a very pleasant stay."

"If you don't want the noise, hustle and bustle of the city, stay at Borahead Lodge. A peaceful, quiet cottage only minutes from dining, groceries and Dublin. It's a short drive (40 minutes) from Dublin airport. 20 minute drive to the Red Cow park and ride Luas station so you don't have to fight Dublin downtown traffic. Bridie (our friendly host) gave great advice about the area and shared pears from her orchard. If we're ever back in Ireland, we will be staying here."

"Beautiful property and lovely host! The only thing wrong was that we only stayed two nights. Would have loved to have taken the baking class offered. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and unwind this is the place! And the breakfast was incredible! "

"Gracious hosts, spacious bedrooms, and a large kitchen area. 3 baths with 2 showers whitch are necessary when getting ready to begin your travels !!"

"This was the perfect home for our family to stay. The bunk beds were a hit with our boys and our daughter lived having her own room. The home was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. While there was an issue with the hot water, it was resolved quickly by the property manager."

"This property was a very comfortable and peaceful place to visit. Right outside a cute village with great food and people. Catherine was very kind and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend!"

"This property has beautiful country views in a quiet surrounding. It also has easy access to the motorway. It is spacious, modern and comfortable furniture. Our host was very helpful"

"The most beautiful surroundings and views from here and the property was well laid out, comfortable and worked really well for our group of 6. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great and the wood burning stove was a lovely touch on chllly evenings. Communication was great and it was a great stay. I would highly recommend this place."

"Everything good except shower in ensuite needs new shower head. Very poor Internet signal at the house. No WiFi in house either. No outdoor furniture in back yard. Good central location for tourist attractions. Good Central heating. Very limited channels on TV. Good big dining room for family meals seating 8 people. Overall nice property with spacious bedrooms and living room."

"Yvonne and Peter couldn't be more accommodating! Yvonne met us to discuss the cottage. She had nice touches to make everything cozy. It was incredibly clean! We felt at home immediately! It was a wonderful base camp for Kilkenny and several other places. We loved Portlaoise and enjoyed several trips into town ( only a 10 minute drive) We loved their dogs and enjoyed spending time getting to know them. ( Our choice, they are very respectful of privacy) I absolutely recommend their place 100%!!"

"Excellent accueil, riche de précisions et de conseils de balades. Location agréable mais quelques efforts à faire pour rendre douche et salle de bain plus efficaces. Vaisselle un peu limitée. Très belle région idéale pour les promenades à vélo tranquilles."

"Nice hotel for an overnight stay. Good buffet breakfast in morning with gluten free items available. The wheelchair accessible room was HUGE yet the washroom was compact and a bit bizzare like the shower controls outside of the shower area which made it hard for me to deal with when sitting on a shower shair in the shower. "The lobby is very impressive, even extravagant, handsome decor and furnishings throughout. It felt like we overpaid for our room, as it was way at the back of the property, in an older building and right above the noisy service and loading area. But convenient."

"Beautiful peaceful old style hotel with a modern twist. Staff are efficient and extremely helpful. Have to mention receptionist Kate. What a beautiful young woman. she was pleasant, kind, nothing was too much fir her. She will make an excellent manager one day. All the staff were lovely. Also duty Manager Cormac who sorted out a few little issues we had without fuss. This was my second time staying at Killashee and return again"
