"This was a great place to stay. Our first 2 days were spent in Waikiki and, though it was beautiful, the crowds-noise-traffic made it hard to enjoy the experience. We stayed for 6 days Thur-Tue at the beachfront cottage in Punaluu. It was so peaceful and quiet the entire time. It took a little getting used to not having air conditioning, as it was pretty warm during our stay, but we did adjust pretty well and definitely made use of the fans that were provided. "We loved everything about this stay! Check-in was super easy and the location is a nice short walk to the beach and close to the pool. The unit is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were there during a tsunami warning/evacuation and both the owner and property manager reached out to make sure we were ok and stayed in touch with updates throughout the evacuation period. We look forward to staying here again in the future. "

"Wonderful stay! We don’t often stay in VRBO’s, but after a week on Kauai in a hotel, this apartment was just what we needed. Two spacious bathrooms, solid A/C, and access to laundry. Very comfortable stay and compliments to the owners/cleaners. They’re several little things on offer that made a big different, such as having olive oil & cooking spray, tin foil, along with ample plates/Glasses etc. This place deserves a full 5 stars. "Turtle Bay Resort area is a wonderful getaway into Hawaii's nature. I loved the easy access to the beach via a 5 minute walk. Snorkeling in the lagoon was dequate for my grandkids to see the reef fish. The wild, pristine and secluded bay offers private beach relaxation. "Check in was smooth and easy. Some instructions seemed outdated. The paperwork mentioned a white key fob, but the FOB was small and black. Pool was great. Kitchen had all of the tools needed. Large refrigerator. Has designated parking. Would book again if staying on north shore. "

"The location of this property was absolutely perfect. We were able to snorkel right off the front of the property every day and spotted sea turtles along with a wide variety of fish.The bed was very comfortable, and we slept surprisingly well even without air conditioning—falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredibly relaxing. Just a heads-up: the roosters do get an early start to the day!"
