Schöne Lodge, sehr abgelegen
Gut ausgestattete Lodge in direkter Nachbarschaft zu einer Farm mit Tierrettungsststion. Also nicht in unberührter Natur, aber sehr ruhig. Angenehm kühl im Vergleich zu den Canyons oder der Kleinstadt Moab, zu der man ca 20min fährt. Einkaufen nur dort wirklich möglich.

Visiting Utah & all its wonders!
The cabin was perfect for our stay. The directions made it easy to find. We absolutely enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from the porch. The drive to Moab, Arches, and Canyonlands was about an hour or so - not bad and with some great views. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

This rental made our vacation !
We absolutely loved spending our vacation at the cabin. Everything was fantastic. The cabin, the view, the location, spending time on the porch watching the deer graze, everything. If we ever get back that way we would definitely stay here again. Drive to Moab was not too long, and was the perfect spot for us. Close proximity to the parks and other day trips around the Four Corners region. We highly recommend Mt.Peale Cabin 1 Animal Sanctuary !

Lovely mountain retreat!
We had a great experience staying at Teague’s. It was very clean, cozy and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We only wish we’d had more time! It is about 45 minutes outside of Moab, for those that are wondering what the commute will be like. But we didn’t mind it, it was worth it to be out of the tourist melee and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. 10/10, would stay here again.

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!
I didn't want to leave! I immediately booked 2 more nights when I arrived. The cabin was clean and cozy. It had everything I needed to cook meals, and do laundry and just relax.. The view from my front porch was beautiful. The birds sang their morning songs as I watched the sun rise over the mountains in the distance.Then, there's the animals! Horses, kitties and dogs on the property are so sweet. This place is a true gem for animal and nature lovers. Teague and Katrina are just lovely people all around and were very accommodating. I will definitely be returning year after year.

Perfect La Sal Getaway
We recently spent 4 days at the Mt Peale Cabin exploring the La Sal and Moab backcountry. From reservation to check in/out there was great communication and clear instructions on getting there and enjoying our stay. Teague and Katrina were amazing & welcoming hosts and the cabins were clean, cozy, and well stocked. We were fortunate to find this place and can’t wait to visit again!

Surprised and somewhat disappointed
No one was there when we arrived to check in. The overall property was somewhat cluttered. The “cabin” is actually a duplex. On a positive note the property was generally quiet and the “cabin” relatively clean.

Great place but further out and hard to find.
Nightly rate great but added taxes, cleaning fee, service fee etc, made it more expensive than I thought. And with longer drive back and forth to parks took time and gas. I tried to reach someone but couldn't TO CHECK IN. Got there in the dark. Thank goodness we found it and it was unlocked. The place itself was WONDERFUL....

Long ways from Moab!
The cabins were very nice and clean but nothing to do other than rest and relax. We did see a few deer and a million stars. There is no TV and the advertised WiFi is not fast enough for streaming Netflix, etc which you don't find out until you're there. There are ceiling fans in each room but no way to turn them on. I couldn't get the AC to turn so opened windows, but the heat worked fine on the cold early May mornings. Washer and Dryer are convenient but the dryer controls don't work and it ran all night. One toilet and one TINY shower and would be very cramped for parties of 4 or 6.

The location is great and the cabin is well equipped. The one thing that needs to be upgrade is the internet. Since the cabin is registered with WiFi it will be great if you can upgrade the internet to a decent level if not higher.

Wanted to be impressed
We were very much looking forward to staying at a place off the beaten path. The location was wonderful but there was no clear instructions about checkin from the hosts or on the property in order to find the location. There were semen stains on the bedding and the sinks in the rooms were clogged with hair. The main areas of the cabin were clean and it was a quiet stay but the difficult checkin process and dirty linens definitely put a damper on our stay. There was also no tv as shown in the pictures and the WiFi was down most of our stay.

This property is beautifully-situated property! The cabin has everything you need but still has privacy. We really enjoyed this place! Note: anyone staying here while visiting Moab should check temperatures. It was more than 20 degrees colder here in La Sal up in the mountain and when we checked out there was a foot of snow! 😅

We Didn't Want to Leave
I have stayed at this property before, and was eager to stay again. The property is spotlessly clean and well-maintained, but the best part of the property is the location. In the foothills of the La Sal Mountains, the location is isolated, beautiful, quiet, and peaceful: a much needed respite from the craziness of this year. My mom and I played with the idea of spending a whole day of our vacation doing nothing other than lounging around the cabin, but there were so many great things to see and do in the area that we missed that opportunity. Be aware that the cabin is located a good drive up an isolated road from Moab. This is a bonus as far as I'm concerned, as I hate crowds of people even in normal years, and the road is well-maintained, but it may be too far out in the boonies for some people. Again, the isolation and distance from town is totally what I love the most about the property. The property is currently for sale, which hurt my heart to see, but I hope new ownership in the future continues to maintain and rent out the cabins as I would love to stay again in the future!
