My daughter and I stayed for a few days at Luau. The check in process was easy, all needed information was sent the day before check in. The condo was clean and looked like the pictures. We enjoyed our stay.

Need to Sweat the Small Stuff

Our stay was great, the unit was as represented but just a few more details would put it over the top. The entry codes need a little more clarification...the 'gate code' means the parking gate code...the 'foyer code' looks like two different codes when actually one and the property maps within the unit do not pertain to the building that the unit is in. Again, just a few additional details would put it over the top. Thanks for a great stay!

Management company’s lack of attention and communication takes away from the integrity of this unit.

We have stayed at the Luau many times and love it. Unfortunately, this condo was one of the least cared for units we’ve stayed in. The communication between the management company is very lacking, automated and slow to respond. The unit itself needs some attention! The tub was very dirty, as were the floors. The bathroom door cannot open fully due to hitting the bed making accessibility a problem. The king bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the fitted sheet was not over the mattress at all at the foot. Power outlet by bed doesn’t work, there is no overhead lighting in bedroom, and the lamps needed new bulbs. The thermostat says it is cooling, but unit stayed warm. Freezer door does not stay closed and ice maker does not work. Unit did not have appropriate number of required wristbands and we did not receive them until following day. All in all, we made do with what we had, but it is very disappointing and aggravating to come on vacation to a “clean” room and spend my time to clean it, remake the bed, etc…

Great Stay

This is a very lovely apartment and really is as nice as it looks in the pictures. It is also the best equipped VRBO rental we have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly need to cook and serve a meal is there. The apartment was spotless when we arrived. We also had a little problem with the fridge but a Vacasa rep immediately responded to us and a repair man was there the next day. This was even a weekend. Great service. The apartment is well located in the complex. You really can walk to the beach in five minutes. The tram stops thereand it has a lovely pool. We would definitely recommend it
