A Shore Thing - Quiet Home with 2 Golf Carts!

Enjoy this gem tucked away in the Sandpiper Village neighborhood in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. This four bedroom, three bathroom home, backs up to a pond on the Links golf course offering great views and the perfect place to relax. This home offers three king beds and a bunkroom. It was furnished with families in mind, with hopes to make your vacation perfect!


Highlights of our home are listed below:

* Two four seater golf carts included with rental

* Sleeps 12 in beds, most comfortable for a max of 8-10 adults

* Parking available for two cars

* 5 minute golf cart ride to the beach, with ample parking

* Access to two heated pools, one with a zero entry and lap lanes, both less than a five minute ride away! ****Please note, the second pool is under renovation, with estimated completion in early 2025

* Access to the Sandestin Fitness Center (a five minute walk) or Grand Fitness (five minute ride) (Fees apply)

* Access to three beautiful golf courses within Sandestin, The Links Golf Club, The Baytowne Golf Club, and the Raven Golf Club. Tee times can be booked online (Fees apply)

* Great fishing opportunities in the lakes within Sandestin, the bay, or even off the beach! Catch and release policy for the ponds, and a fishing license is required for bay/gulf fishing

* TVs in all bedrooms

* Bicycle rentals available at the Sandestin marina (Fees apply)

* Pontoon boat, jet skis, paddle board, and kayak rentals available at the Sandestin marina, a five minute ride away (Fees apply)

* Beach towels included (minimum of six)

No outside golf carts are allowed within the resort. Only golf carts included with rental properties that are registered to a homeowner are allowed. This is strictly enforced by Sandestin security.


We have several properties nearby, so let us know what you are looking for and we can help you find the right home!



Guests have access to the Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort beach, two pools, restaurants, bars, golf courses, tennis courts, basketball courts, miniature golf, and shops all within the resort and accessible on a golf cart. The resort includes the Village of Baytowne Wharf which has lots of activities for the whole family including live music, playgrounds, ropes course, zip-line, restaurants, bars, and shopping. The grocery store, liquor store, gym, movie theater, more restaurants, and shops are just outside the resort at Grand Boulevard and accessible by the golf cart. You can't go wrong with this place!

Perfect family stay
We had a perfect vacation staying here! It was clean and comfortable, a great layout and comparable living and kitchen area for hanging out, quick and easy access to the beach, restaurants, and fun! Traci was always quick to reply with any questions or concerns we had and made check in a breeze. House instructions and check out lists were readily posted around the house for ease of access which made everything so easy to find. We can’t wait to be back!

Dream summer
Itwas my dream summer to stay here in this home, I have wanted a big family trip for several years. From the time we checked in until we left, worked perfectly. House was wonderful, kid friendly very functional, and when I did contact the owner it was immediate response! Thank you for sharing this home with my children and their spouses also my grand babies! For me it was a dream come true! Made it even better that our comfort level was great and the amenities in the house and on the resort were fabulous!!

Family time
Great place to hang with family. Our adult grands ranged from 17-24. They had a ball taking the golf carts around the area. Plenty to do on the resort. You can’t see the ocean from the property but a 5 minute drive and parking available. Ours took the carts. Fishing was awesome right out the back door. The 4 th bedroom was all bunks and for children it would be fine. We ended up using both couches which were long and boys didn’t complain. Also all bedrooms are upstairs. As far as communication, I really didn’t talk to anyone and we had no problems during our stay.

Home away from home
This was by far the best home away from home experience I’ve experienced. We visit Destin annually but always opt to stay at a hotel on the beach. Well I wanted something a little different and went this route. I won’t be going back to hotels after this experience. Just having everything at my fingertips made it so sweet. The young kids in the group loved the back pond filled with turtles. We fed the turtles daily. The golf carts made getting around fun for all. I will be booking my next stay here.

Everything you need for an amazing vacation!
This is a beautiful home with so many things to do within a short drive on the included golf carts. We enjoyed fishing in the pond each day. Having the golf carts provided easy access to explore everything that Sandestin has to offer including the beach, pool, restaurants, Baytowne Wharf village, basketball, putt-putt and the grocery store. We can’t wait to plan our next family vacation!

Fantastic
This place was as amazing as it described. It was clean and close to everything. The gold carts were so much getting around to see the beaches, golf , swimming pool. One thing we didn’t expect was fishing in the back yard We caught about 12 bass also the cutest little turtles that greet you as you walk out to them . We will be coming back to this beautiful home again. The host was very on it asking quick questions.

Great Family Vacation!
We certainly enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful, clean and so comfortable for our family of 5 adults and 2 kids, ages 10 & 12. We enjoyed the large kitchen with plenty of dishes, utensils, cookware, and appliances. The screened patio on the lower level and open patio on the second level were great! Thank you for the two golf carts, beach towels, toys, chairs, and umbrellas too. Everything we needed was easily accessible within a short ride on a golf cart or by car. Traci, our host, responded quickly to answer any questions we had. We had great fun and look forward to coming back again!

Fantastic!
A wonderful, clean, updated 4 bedroom home close to all that Sandestin has to offer! We loved the well stocked kitchen with all the modern appliances. The home was light and bright and has a tranquil setting overlooking the water with a family of ducks. The two golf carts were very handy for getting around and going to the beach. We will return. stayed 3/1/2024

Perfect Family Vacation
The layout of this home works so well for our family group of 4 adults and 3 children. The downstairs is open with plenty of room. We love the connecting laundry and bath just off the foyer for cleaning up after the beach. The kitchen can easily accommodate more than one cook for family mealtime, and the dining and living areas are spacious so no one feels crowded. The screen porch and sundeck have gorgeous sunset views over the lagoon and we fed turtles from the backyard. Two bedrooms with king beds and a bunkroom are a big plus, along with a queen bedroom. We love the quiet location on the bayside and it's an easy bike or golf cart ride to the beach, and also to shopping at Grand Boulevard. We enjoyed relaxing morning and evening walks out to the dock or past the neighborhoods. A great place for making family memories!

Everything was perfect. We enjoyed the extra amenities that came with the house. It was like being at home. The children, ages 2, 5, 7, 9 loved the accommodations. They enjoyed feeding the turtles out back. It was nice to have golf carts included. No complaints at all. The host was very receptive and easy to contact. Would recommend.

A Shore Thing is a Sure Thing!
Theses days it’s almost surprising when everything turns out the way it’s been portrayed! The unit was neat & clean, beds were perfect and the 2 golf carts made everything accessible. The absolute BEST thing was the quiet when it’s supposed to be quiet! Location was great! Close to anything you might want! I’d stay there again.

Wonderful!!
We absolutely loved our stay! The house was spotless! It was completely stocked with everything we needed...and more. The kids loved the small table and chairs and chalkboard. The beds were very comfortable, so much so that I need to know what mattress is in the master bedroom! It was great! We have stayed at a few different properties around the area and will definitely be back to this one. It was perfect! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Beach Vacation
We love the quiet bayside location on the lagoon and the two golf carts. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 kids. The spacious kitchen and large dining area are great for meals and games and the downstairs laundry and bath are so convenient coming back from the beach or pool. Home has beach towels and sand toys. The owner was very responsive to any concerns. The perfect place for a very relaxing vacation!

We loved the community/area of our stay here. The golf carts made getting to and from the beach, pool, and Wharf area so easy and fun. Our little ones loved taking rides and the community pool. The home worked great and came with so many things that worked great for our families. The turtles in the backyard pond were fun to see as well.

A Shore Thing was a "sure" thing. The home was clean, welcoming and comfortable. The two golf carts made traveling easy with three families. Traci, our host was very accommodating with answering questions and providing suggestions. There was something for everyone, from feeding the turtles right outside the screened in porch (small creek running along the back of the property) to playing golf (choice of 3 courses), going to one of the two pools within the community or enjoying Marimar Beach. The daily/nightly visits to the Village of Baytowne Wharf had something for everyone of all ages! Great accommodations and would highly recommend!

This place was top notch and had everything a family will need to enjoy a beach vacation. The house is well equipped from the kitchen essentials to the beach chairs. The activities, music, and restaurants are only a golf cart ride away in Sandestin which gave our family plenty to do on and off the beach. Neighbors are friendly and the fishing was a bonus.

Clean and beachy!
Loved this place! Beautifully renovated space, farmhouse/beachy feel. Had everything we needed for the beach -- towels, umbrellas, a tent/shade, chairs. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking/baking. Our 2 year old loved the toys and child-sized table and chairs! Had a hard time getting the baby gate to stay in place on the bottom of the stairs because of the baseboard and ended up just leaning it, which was enough of a deterrent to our little one. Loved the location with lots of great food nearby -- Tommy Bahama was a favorite! Would definitely stay again!

Great Stay!
Overall, had a great experience at A Shore Thing. The condo was perfect for 8 people (kids & adults). You'll definitely need the golf carts to get to the pools and beach. The home is equipped with necessities, but be prepared to go to the store for nearly everything you would need for cooking. Only salt and pepper are provided. Would absolutely stay at A Shore Thing again!

60th Birthday Gift to myself
We really enjoyed this beautiful home at the SanDestin Golf and Beach Resort. We invited several family members with overlapping stays. Having the two golf carts was a game changer. It provided a lot of flexibility and freedom. There is so much to do on the vast property (beach/pool/shop/groceries/wharf/restaurants). All these places are accessible with the golf cart! So no one had to rent a car. Also, the home was very nicely appointed with so many amenities. Lots of cooking utensils/pots/pans/dishes, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable! The yard overlooks a nice pond with lots of birds/turtles/fish. We stayed three weeks with family members coming and going. Everyone really enjoyed it. Traci was easy to reach when we had a slight issue with the power going off. We just tripped the breaker and it came back on. Only happened once. Also, lots of hot showers taken at the same time and no one ran out of hot water! The neighbors were also very friendly! I highly recommend this great destination! Thanks, Traci!
