Great house
One of my friends and I had a three night girls’ trip and stayed here. It is a duplex and quiet, as we did not hear a thing from the people next door. The inside is very clean and well decorated with comfortable furniture and amenities.

Beautiful place and great location
We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, had everything we needed, and was so comfortable. Communication was great with the host. I loved the eco-friendly skin care products! Very aligned with what I usually use so that was a nice bonus. The local little main St areas had great food and shopping.

The good news is that the property is visibly clean, and it is near bike and walking trails. It served as a good base for our visit. Unfortunately, this is the kind of experience that makes us never want to use short term rentals again. The place smelled heavily of air freshener or some kind of odor masker that never went away in the 10 days we were there. We kept the windows open for as much of the day as we could, but the smell would return as soon as the windows were closed. The outside of the property was poorly maintained. The back walk to the parking area was overgrown with weeds and the sidewalk has settled a few inches around the concrete side steps. This means that when you take your last step, it’s very long. If you have any balance issues, it could be a problem. To open the windows, you have to push open the outside storm windows, which all had spiderwebs and were kind of gross. The property is a duplex. Our neighbors tended to get up pretty early. Like 3 o’clock in the morning. They weren’t terribly noisy, but you could hear them. Though late one Saturday night there was a heated argument next door that left me awake for a while, wondering whether I should call the police. Luckily it didn’t seem to escalate beyond prolonged and loud arguing. All in all, it wasn’t horrible, it was just kind of like an old cheap motel. From now on, for these prices, we’ll stay in a decent hotel.

Loved the neighborhood
We really liked staying in this duplex. We took a walk along lake Harriet every morning. The neighbors could be a bit loud as we are early to bed. Where to park the car in back was a bit confusing. There was leftover food items in the fridge and freezer (leftover milkshake with straw in it). These were minor inconveniences and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Clean with a nice location
In town for a wedding. Picked this place cause the positive reviews and location. Didn’t disappoint. Had a nice walk to lake Harriet one of the days we were there. Plenty of good coffee shops and little restaurants in walking range as well. We had one hiccup with the main entrance getting in at one point but I think my 1.5 year old son may have locked the doorknob (which you’re not supposed to do). We were able to get it resolved fairly quickly and get back into the hous. Communication on there end was great!

Great stay by the lake
We had a great stay even though the weather was not the best. Property is within walking distance to many great restaurants and coffee shops. Walk around the lake is amazing. Great place to stay!! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Poor communication
The kitchen light went out one day before checkout. I messaged the host, received no response. Lightbulb was never replaced, I was forced to cook with poor lighting only using light above stove. Front door needs to be repaired very difficult to lock. Windows were opened not locked when we arrived.

Convenient, comfortable, and well cared for
My family and I had a very pleasant stay at this half-duplex near Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. There are several restaurants convenient to the VRBO and it's an easy walk to the Lake. Even though there was some road construction going on less than a block away, the rooms were quiet. One minor issue is communication with the person who manages the property. There's a second company between VRBO and the property owner, and somehow in the combination messages sent through VRBO's contact form get lost (more specifically, having talked to the firm, messages reach the firm, but when they respond, the answers don't get back to the VRBO web site). So -- if you wish to rent, reach out to the email address listed, instead of using the VRBO form! She was very responsive and helpful.

Nice South Minneapolis Duplex
Nice clean place in an excellent location. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The one downside...and this isn't necessarily the owner's fault. The people living in the other side of the duplex decided to go all Friday on a Tuesday. That distinct skunk smell filled our side of the duplex too. I get this is maybe the new norm in cities like Minneapolis. But still not a great way to spend the night with my 8 and 5 year olds.
