Beautiful interiors, well equipped and host Andrea was very responsive and helpful. Will highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Even went for a swim in the lake across from the house - cold but worth it!"

"We found a spot on the calendar for a quick two-night trip to ski white pass with the kids. This cozy little cabin was just right. Simple, clean, easy access to Packwood and a quick drive to the top of the pass. We will be back!"

In general, everything was great, I especially note the wonderful atmosphere of the interior, a wonderful fireplace with crackling and warmth, a beautiful jacuzzi in a wonderful place, comfortable pillows and warm blankets. "While the weather wasnt what was hoped for this cute little cabin made it worth while for our first trip to Packwood. Clean, cozy, had all the amenities we needed and we slept amazing on the comfy bed. The neighborhood made for great morning and evening walks with the pup (thank you for the pet extras). The deck (even in the rain) was just what was needed for coffee and evening cocktail listening to the rain, cozied up under the little covered area. We will be back!"

"Property is exatcly as advertised and has a impressively complete kitchen. We stayed here to be near white pass for a weekend of snowshowing and hot tubbing which felt great after being on the mountain. Definitely would come back in the future!"

"Beautiful cabin in the woods. Had a great time and everything we needed. We were sad to have to leave before we finished our puzzle. It was a little hard to find in the dark the first time but google maps helps with that"

"Was a fantastic cozy stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our time in town as well. Would stay here again. The only thing we didn’t like was the extremely steep driveway. Great communication from the cabin owner as well. "

"Very clean with comfortable beds. Deer in the backyard and when it got chilly inside, the wall-mounted heaters worked quickly to make it comfortable. Nice dual head shower with lots of water pressure. Location was convenient to our needs like Ashford grocery store, the Copper Creek restaurant and the Park trails. Only 3 negatives: 1. The hot tub was set at a low temp that we think is about 100 deg. We have a hot tub and are pretty good at judging water temperature. Our anticipated soak after a...

"Cute little loft above a barn that was well equipped and super close to Mt Rainier Park. Enjoyed hiking during the day and enjoyed soaking in the covered hot tub afterwards. Would definitely recommend for a couple. "

"I had a wonderful time at the cabin -- it was clean, the kitchen had all the pots, pans, and appliances I needed, and the hot tub was lovely. The location was also perfect for hiking MTTA trails and areas within the national park.The hosts were also very communicative. There was a power outage during my stay that affected multiple towns, and they were on top of messaging information about batteries, lights, and the website with county updates about the outage."

"We stayed a couple of nights and really enjoyed our getaway from the city. Although there are many hiking opportunities, we only went out once because of the rain and enjoyed the hot tub and coziness of the cabin to cook and relax. Debbie was great responding to any questions and concerns we had and we had a lovely time. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise. "

"The cabin was quite cozy overall, quiet neighborhood. Saw lots of elk in the front yard one morning. Hot tub was nice. Wood storage well stocked. The bed by the back door is where I slept, it seemed to have a dip in the center as I couldn't help but roll into it. The mini split does not work for heat. We turned it on and left, came back and it was 58 inside, was set to 70.all the wood was completely soaked so getting fires going was almost impossible. I had to split a bunch to get a lot of...

"Cozy, clean, conveniently located. Great place to stay while hiking, plus good food in the area if you don’t want to cook. Would recommend this to friends and family and would definitely stay here again!"

"Nelson's basecamp is truly an incredible cabin. The cabin is set in a private and peaceful area. Surrounded by trees and wildlife. The wood stove kept us really warm all through the night. We loved all the historical pictures and items that are placed throughout the cabin. This place is a true cabin experience! We loved every moment we were here. We will definitely be returning to Nelson's basecamp."
