"We needed a quiet little break and didn't want to deal with airlines or a long roadtrip. This cottage just outside Weatherford was just right. It was an easy one-hour drive fron North Dallas; secluded, but just 15-minutes from casual shopping and plenty of dining options. "The view overlooking PK lake was fabulous. The house was well stocked with attention to most details of what may be needed. Very clean and well maintained. Host/hostess were extremely accommodating and prompt to respond to any inquiry. There is no real lot/property to do anything outside except for the small pool which is very nice. "This property has it all. We had 10 adults and 8 children. Great space with multiple areas where people can hang out or escape to enjoy time alone! The master suite worked PERFECT for our daughter, her husband and three small boys! It is roomy and has a little kitchenette right by it. "Great location to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoyed a 3 day weekend with my family of four, my sister's family of four and our Mom and Dad. There was enough space for everyone to get a good nights rest. Great location for fishing off the dock and to dock the boat. Glad we brought all our groceries with us and grill. Rain didn't stop us from fishing and cooking outside!"
