"La maison est très grande,bien organisée.Chacun avait son propre domaine.Les chambres sont agréables.Le matelas au salon est cependant bien mou.Le barbecue a servi dans le joli patio.On est à 10mn à pied du centre de Kelso,jolie petie ville aux très nombreux commerces accueillants,bien située dans les Borders et entourée d'abbayes superbes ,surtout celle de Dreyburg ,et de beaux paysages.On envisage déjà de revenir.Merci Nikky."

"Lovely spacious well-heated house in beautiful countryside. We had a week of snowy weather which was heavenly. Edward, the owner was extremely helpful. He towed out some cars which got stuck in the car park by the house, provided lots of logs, replaced the washing machine which had problems and was generally a great help. This is a house for people who like old books and furnishings...don't go there if you want modern posh."

"The most perfect Christmas get away. Gorgeous cosy cottage and absolutely loved the roof terrace for star gazing. Quiet village but everything we needed. Easy to drive over to the coast and great local pubs. Super communication from host and the cottage was immaculate with everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave. "The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"The small cottage is very well equipped, It has been very well thought out, every thing you need using the small tidy space. The outside area is so peaceful and will be at it's best in summer. The garden area very secure for a dog and the cottage is ideal for a single person and a four legged companion, quite a rare find. It rained very heavy one evening yet we heard nothing and felt very snug and warm. "

"Stayed fir 3 nights. With 10 adults. Lovley big house. Plently of room Comfortable beds. Some paintwork a.bit.shabby which was a shame. Only down side was it stated a clockroom i thought that.meant a downstairs toilet but it was just a place eto hang coats. This was difficult as some of the party was eldery and found the stairs difficult to navigate, butmon the whole we had a great.time."
