"Had my bday getaway with friends here it was awesome even in the winter. Says up to 6 guests and we had 5 and it was very crowded, not enoigh dinner table seats for everyone and living room seating was not for us all to sit and watch tv. Other than that it was great thoigh! "

"Don't be put off by the lack of curb appeal, the apartment attached to the main home is situated at the back and has a spectacular view of the valley. The sunrise was stunning. The unit was spotlessly clean. It looked newly constructed and had a cute cottage vibe. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was suitably equipped, the bathroom had a full laundry attached. "We had a great time at this cottage. Would definitely recommend! "

"We were in Kentville for u15AAA Atlantic Baseball…it was around 4 minutes to the field. Great location for that!"

"Margaretsville is a very small, but very scenic town. Dining options are limited to a few restaraunts a short drive away from town. The accommodation is one small room adequate for single or couple only, beautifully kept, with an outside hottube and beautiful view right on the ocean. Hosts (Liz and Ray) could not be nicer or more helpful. Middleton is a good size town with all conveniences a short drive away."

"We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was clean and had everything we needed. The view could not be beat! Neighbors so friendly! Sunset from the beach was beautiful! Thank you! "

"Was so great to have enough bedrooms for our large family. Loved being on the harbour and experiencing those amazing tides and being able to just walk over to the Lobster Pound restaurant. Great memories."

"We stayed here for a week in the Fall and it was absolutely amazing! The hosts, Shirley/Jack/Cooper are amazing (Don't tell Jack, but Cooper was our favorite) they made sure we had every thing needed to be comfortable and were extremely welcoming. The views from the bedroom are breath taking, especially on a stormy Fall evening. The community of Margaretsville is incredibly picturesque with no shortage of views and history. I highly recommend them for a quiet getaway."

We chose this spot as it was close to family in the area and we wanted to be able to base ourselves close to them while also being within an hour or so of a lot of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, etc. The cottage was a great size, with lots of space for our family to relax and spread out. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The outdoor space was just wonderful - we enjoyed a campfire almost every night, and during the day the kids spent hours in the paddleboat...

We were able to visit each other in comfort and catch up on our last 10 years. The bed/couch were comfortable and the place quiet for sleeping. The place was SPOTLESS, and the view from the bed was lovely. (being a bit of an insomniac, I enjoyed the lights of the fishing boats out on the water from the comfort of the bed). "Stayed here for a wedding. The door lock was a little finicky at times and the place was a little musty smelling/not as clean as we would have liked. But otherwise our stay was fine. Communication from the host was good."

"Had a great couple of days with family in advance of Christmas. Beautiful rustic home - great communication with our hosts. "

"The exterior of the property needs to be cleaned up. wood,nails,insulation lying around. Dangerous for dogs and pets. Interior clean and well kept, very much as described."
