"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

"Could not have asked for a lovelier stay! The house was extremely well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Also had such a cosy feel. There is lots to do round about and there is a bus that comes once an hour right at the door so we didn’t feel restricted without a car! If you want a cosy stay would 100% recommend! "We had such a lovely trip! The cottage was beautiful, clean and very cosy. There was everything that youd need or want including board games, tv, access to local ammenities ect. It was a huge bonus for us that the host allowed our dogs to stay too, they are a huge part of our family so getting to take them made our trip extra special. The garden at the cottage was beautiful too.The beds were so comfortable, usually i have trouble sleeping if im staying somewhere new- this wasnt a problem at...

"Beautiful property that is very well maintained and clean. Has gorgeous views of the Firth of Clyde and a hot tub for good measure. Hosts were great communicators, although when asked, we were told to take cooking basics (salt, pepper, tea and coffee etc) and cleaning products as they wouldnt be provided. Although these things were all present on arrival. To note, we thought the fridge was quite small for a 10 person holiday home. We couldnt fit a lot of our food and drink in for our 2 night...

"Overall we had a lovely stay. But as the 4 of us are Pensioners we found the stairs not easy! And the enttrance to the prooertynot good....the garden needed tidying"

"Food in the Orangery restaurant was great quality. Room was clean and comfortable but could maybe be doing with a little bit of renovation. Continental breakfast was of a good standard, cooked breakfast was varied with some items a little overcooked. Health suite facilities were of a good standard. Sauna and Steam room were of a decent size approx 8 people at a time in each. Changing rooms were a little tight if many people were in. Staff were pleasant, helpful and really great."

"Lovely modern hotel. Restaurant had some little booths as well as traditional tables. We were in a booth which I like. Staff were very good, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. I loved the fish in the pool in the restaurant. some rooms have a long walk to them due to the size of the hotel. It has its own carpark."
