"This was a wedding anniversary getaway for my hubby and I. We had an enjoyable stay… it’s quiet and serene, we really could only hear the birds, which was lovely. We really enjoyed the hot tub. We appreciated the water cooler. "This is my go-to in Picton. Clean, spacious and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Communication and check-in was easy. The only small suggestion I have is that it would be useful to have some kind of hook on the back of the bedroom & bathroom doors to hang items on (like a toiletry bag) since there isn’t a lot of bathroom counter space. A full length mirror would be useful as well for us ladies that are visiting for a girls' weekend. Everything was great. I've been here before...

"Wonderful location for a cottage with perfect access to the outdoors. Great that kayaks were available from the rental business. Rustic building, no door on the freezer, but once we knew what was what, which was unfortunately on the second day of our stay, it was perfect. Unfortunately I didn't get a response about the Sandbanks pass number when I requested it a week before our stay so there were no reservations available at Outlet Beach."

"Our family greatly enjoyed our week staying in Watercombe. The waterfront is stunning and we frequently took out the kayaks to explore the bay. All amenities worked very well for us. One note for anyone staying longer (we stayed for a full week) would be that trash and recycling have to be driven out to the main road on collection day and there is not an outdoor bin to store a trash should you generate more than one bag."

"We are 4 adults who had an excellent stay in this spacious home. The common areas are large, and the kitchen is well equipped. There are enough towels, paper towels, dishwasher pods and toilet paper provided for the duration of the stay, which is much appreciated. "This is a great spot. Quiet with easy private access to a beautiful large lake, fantastic sunsets. The chalet is simple but well equipped. It is easy to get around to PEC great spots like Sandbanks but you can also just have a great time at the chalet swimming, kayaking, relaxing on the deck and the dock or playing games around the fire (not to mention the Sauna).
