Cute little house in the peaceful country!
My family and I loved this cute guest house next to the woods.The hosts were accommodating and easy to communicate with. The details in the house felt like it was really cared for. It was warm and welcoming, and very comfortable. And it may seem strange, but since I am sensitive to smells, I noticed that it smelled great but not too perfume-y, including the sheets and towels.The only thing I would have done different is to bring more drinking water.We had an enjoyable time bringing in the New Year here.Thank you so much!

Second to None.
Everything about our stay was great. Love the location and comfortably fit all 4 of us for the few days we were in town for the holiday. Will be our go to place anytime we get back up to Michigan to visit family.

First Time EVER in Ann Arbor!!!
My family and I loved staying here! We came to stay because we wanted to try out a VRBO instead of a hotel and this place will definetly be the place we come to again if we come back this way. We all felt like we were at home and it was cozy and comfortable and it wasn't that bad of a drive to what we were doing. The place itself was nice because I love fall so I took some photos and just loved it, and like I said my family did too and they also took some fall photos. Very nice and relaxing. I give this place 10 stars:)

Great place to stay if you have a boat and don't mind driving a few minutes to the lake. You can sleep well at night knowing your boat and gear is safe.

close to Ann Arbor for the activities we were there for, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The facility was cozy, comfortablr, and had a nice kitchen so we could eat in when we didn't wish to fight the crowds (football weekend)

Perfect bungalow for a family stay
We stayed in the cottage while visiting our daughter at the Univ of Michigan. Location was fantastic (about 25 minutes from campus) & the home was immaculate. This was a multi-generation trip with a dog so having multiple bedrooms was critical and we didn't want hotel rooms. After a long day in the sun at the Big House, coming back was the perfect end to the day. Thank you Jill & Michael & we look forward to staying with you again!!

Beautiful Relaxing Stay
Pictures dont disappoint. House is very nice and clean along with the property. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. This was our 2nd stay and definitely look forward to the next! Kids loved it and my dog loved it even more!!!

Lovely Quiet and dog friendly!
Nice very well maintained guest house in wood area. Drive to Ann Arbor was easy. Visited several small towns nearby and found good food and wine. Host was easy to communicate with and made us feel so welcomed. Home was spotless! Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hidden spot!
Great place, very clean. Surrounded by trees, quiet place. Owners are very nice and dogs are very friendly. Good location for easy access to Detroit, by far enough away to not have any traffic. Highly recommend a local favorite spot for food and drinks called the Little Brown Jug, downtown Milan is only 10 minutes away and has a cute little down town area. Definitely would stay again.

A great alternative from expensive AA hotels!
Lovely, quiet property and cozy cottage made this a perfect getaway for us when visiting our daughter at Ann Arbor for Parents’ weekend. While it is a little bit of a drive (~25-30 min) it was well worth it - much more affordable than ridiculously overpriced Ann Arbor hotel rooms. and beautiful peaceful setting made it thoroughly enjoyable. Would definitely return! Thank you!

Just what we needed

Kind hosts, welcoming space
Jill and Michael were thoughtful, helpful, responsive hosts who accommodated our travel needs. The space was quiet, and we especially appreciated the walking paths near the pond and through the Forest next to the house. The location was convenient to Ann Arbor and surrounding outdoor recreation opportunities, parking, arrival, and departure were simple and smooth.

Perfect Family Vacation Home
This property truly deserves 5 stars. My husband and I, our two kids (3yo and 15month old) and our dog stayed here for 5 days. The hosts were very helpful and provided us with some great local options of food and ice cream beforehand. Highly recommend the Social House 103 to anyone visiting. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this home. The house was very clean with everything you could need. The yard was very well maintained and you could tell they love and respect their property. The beach was perfect for our little girls to splash around in and our dog to swim in basically all day. As the description reads definitely bring a few garbage towels to wipe off paws and feet. There were walking trails through the woods that were well maintained as well. You really don’t even need to leave the property! The house was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Pictures didn’t even do this listing justice!

Great location and place
We truly enjoyed this house. We traveled with our kids, ages 4 and 6, and our dog. We enjoyed Rolling Hills and Willow Metroparks for their pools and water parks, along with enjoying the beach at the house before and/or after a day of water. The owners were so kind and welcoming. We were so appreciative to have had the opportunity to bring along our dog, too! She just loved the trails and enjoying nature as we all did. We forgot our dog kennel and the owners were so accommodating to let us borrow one for the stay. Overall, a really wonderful experience - thank you for allowing us to stay in such a great place!

Michigan Getaway
We had a great experience at this property. The hosts are friendly and so are their dogs. Our fur baby Mini Pearl loved visiting them at the fence and escaped one morning to go say hi. The beds were very comfortable, air conditioning worked great, and the living room was perfect for unwinding from our day trips to the Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, touring the F150 plant, and touring Frank Lloyd Wright homes in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay!
My family and I enjoyed our stay at Michael and Jill’s rental! I took a quick trip to MI for my baby shower, and in between all the chaos I truly enjoyed the relaxing outdoor oasis right in the backyard! We had a bonfire one evening and my nieces went swimming in the pond during the day. Michael and Jill even provided me with some recommendations on a nearby bakery! Thanks for the wonderful stay Michael and Jill! :)
