"As we wanted to visit New River Gorge National Park, this house was centrally located & very close to Sandstone Visitor Center. Plan ahead for food & supplies, as it is remote and not much around. My husband wants to return! It's a beautiful area & loved seeing the river. We got used to daily visits from the train."

"Nice place. Coffee and samores supplies a nice touch. Tacos and Sandwich Society across street. Downtown Fayetteville an easy walk. Nice fire pit, plenty of games and books. Wendy replied to any questions within minutes. "

"We had an amazing 4 night stay at this beautiful home in the perfect location to explore New River Gorge National Park and the charming town of Fayetteville. We loved the spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and roomy shared spaces. Spent lots of quiet time on the gorgeous porch and back patio where we chilled in the evenings with the fire pit and lanterns. The host went above and beyond to elevate our stay. "

"Perfect location, clean home. Only privileged was no skillet or griddle for breakfast cooking and that it said that 5 could sleep. No pull out in the couch, but Cortina we had an inflatable. "

"Great spot on River. Nice hole in front of house for swimming and fishing. Caught several small mouth bass. Very private, really enjoyed seating on porch and around fire pit listening to river. Seen bald eagle on our last morning. Would for sure go there again. Host was great, communication was great and had no problems during our stay. "

"This is an exceptional place to stay. The Host had everything we needed. The house was cutely decorated and clean. This was a perfect central location for our excursions. We highly recommend this place, and we will definitely stay here again if we are in the area."

"The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

"We had a great stay at the treehouse! It was wonderful. My husband and I truly enjoyed our time there and in White Sulphur Springs. We can’t wait to come back. "

"This cute little house was perfect for my husband and I for a 2 night get away. The lodge across the street has a beautiful view of the mountains and valley and good food in the restaurant. It was a very convenient location for sightseeing and connecting with nature. We would definitely stay here again if in the area."
