The Space:
Sleeping arrangements
Madison Lodge has 4 traditional bedrooms including 1 King Size Bedroom, 1 Queen Sized Bedroom and four single beds. This brings us a total of 8 guests with room to spread out in the home. All bedrooms feature Casper mattress, quality linens, and are thoughtfully decorated. There are Smart TVs in 4 of the bedrooms, where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu or other streaming account (we don't have a cable).
The Kitchen
The Kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and finishes as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, general spices, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, and everything in between. (Groceries not provided.) For morning coffee, there is a coffee machine, please feel free to bring along your favorite roast. You will find all the dish ware, serve ware, and drink ware you need for your group to dine, but don’t worry, we have you covered with a dishwasher too.

There are 1.5 bathrooms in Madison Lodge, stocked with shampoo, hot dryer and hot water.
Outdoors
For the kiddos, there is a trampoline for them to jump around and have fun, a basketball field, and a house playground with 4 swings.

There are several lakes in close proximity to our house like Lake Pocatello, Silver Lake and Mohagen Lake. You fill find a few restaurants nearby like Oak & Reed, Hanami Japanese Restaurant and Alondra's Cuisine. Near you, you will find bars & pubs like The Bee Tavern, Players & J's Place. Grocery stores are 4-6 minutes drive away. In addition, there are two markets nearby for your convenience. This house is so well located that you will find great Food & Drink options moments away.

Lake Pocatello – 7min drive.
Pocatello is an outdoor oasis. Mountains – most notably the peaks of the Bannock Range – surround the city. The Portneuf River – one of few rivers to flow northward – runs through Pocatello and joins the Snake River at the American Falls reservoir north of the city. Pull on hiking shoes and catch up to the City Creek Trail System to explore a series of trails; some of them even have map systems to use with your smartphone. Find Cherry Springs Nature Area within Caribou-Targhee National Forest, a hotspot for birding – over 100 species have been documented here – and wildlife viewing. Yet another way to experience Pocatello’s great outdoors is at the Portneuf Wellness Complex. With sports fields, basketball courts, sand volleyball and a nearly three-hectare lake for swimming and fishing, you’ll have some serious fun in the fresh air.

Visitors experience interactive exhibitory, informative films and a timeline of the sport's history from its late 18th century New York roots through today. Visitors can also experience the thrill of racing firsthand with a ride on the museum's 3D simulator.
Highland Lakes State Park – 18min drive.
Highland Lakes State Park consists of more than 3,000 acres of undeveloped woods and lakes in Orange County. Visitors use the park for fishing, hiking, horseback riding and flying model planes.
Hook Mountain State Park – 55min drive.
Hook Mountain is the site of a 676-acre undeveloped park stretching through almost seven miles of waterfront and cliff slopes. At 730 feet, its summit offers spectacular views of Rockland Lake and the Hudson River valley. It is also a prime location for watching various types of hawks: sharp-shinned, Cooper's, Northern Goshawks, Red-shouldered, Broad-winged, Red-tailed. The Audubon Society estimates that an average of more than 12,000 hawks fly by Hook Mountain each Fall.
