Welcome to Lincoln Log Lodge a place of tranquility and pure relaxation. This beautiful spacious home will give you the feel of a cozy cabin from the minute you pull in the driveway. Just minutes away from many exciting outdoor adventures, you are sure to enjoy the quiet location away from the city. Bring your bikes, the trails are close by and so many sites to see. Plenty of private outdoor space for yard games and BBQs. Enjoy the various patio and deck spaces, one made of original bricks from the old streets of Chicago, a large screened in porch with comfortable seating and a covered patio for the grill master of the group.

Nestled along the wood line one will appreciate the rustic feel and the instant escape from the hustle and bustle. Enter by way of the front door directly into the open concept gathering space of the dining, kitchen and living room. Designed to allow everyone to be together at once. Right inside sits the dining room where stories will be told over a home cooked meal or at the game table for game night. The beautiful kitchen features brand-new stainless-steel appliances and bright and beautiful granite counter tops with breakfast bar. The space is perfect for cooking up the family favorites, swapping secret family recipes and putting a holiday feast together.

Relax in the adjacent living room with brand new furnishings looking over at the large flat screen. Log into your desired streaming services to catch up on your latest shows, or family favorite movie. The stone fireplace will be sure to keep you warm if the snow is falling or take off the chill of a spring or fall evening. The living room has a pull out couch. The year-round rental has something for all times of the year.

3 bedrooms and 2 baths all on one floor. Perfect for all generations.
Bedroom 1 features a king bed with attached ¾ bath and flat screen TV. Bedroom 2 offers a full-size futon and full-size bed. Bedroom 3 is furnished with a full bed. Extra-large flat screen TVs in both the king and full bedrooms.

While off the beaten path, this property is perfect for quiet getaways. A nature lovers paradise, the birds of all kinds are in season all year long!

**Please remember there is no smoking, no pets and no parties.** Available for the summer months to rent with a 3 night minimum. 2 night minimum outside of peak season.

Fun getaway with friends
Great space, comfortable beds, excellent indoor/outdoor seating and comfort. We spent a lot of time sitting around the tables playing games and the lighting was the only challenge. Probably nothing they can do about it but if you need more light, come prepared!

Beautiful and comfy
We very much enjoyed out stay at your beautiful house!! Very comfortable, cozy and relaxing. The perfect place for friends to reunite! The only issues we had were with the thermostat and the tv remote. Both of which were minor and may have been operator error. Oh, and there were discrepancies between the check out instructions on the fridge and the email sent the day prior to leaving. Thank you and we hope to get to come stay at your home again.

Sibling weekend
My sibs and I (and spouses) get together once a year to reconnect and have some laughs. Really enjoyed this woodsy spot, though there were so many light switches and many of the lights were sterile-white instead of warm and cozy. But really appreciated the cleanliness, and all the windows and amenities. Thanks!

Girl's Weekend
This house provided us with a wonderful weekend. The location was ideal for taking long walks & was conveniently located to a winery & the Botanical Garden. The house was clean & adequately equipped. That being said, it was a bit hodge-podge & not necessarily high end, but everything worked & we had a great time. We took advantage of the ping pong table & darts too!

Beautiful Roomy Cabin in the Woods
The Lincoln Log Lodge was the perfect spot for our little family gathering. The setting is pretty and near to lots of attractions. The house itself was very spacious with lots of room to spread out and relax. Beds were very comfy. Bathrooms were clean and in good condition. Our favorite room was the beautiful screened in sun porch. We loved sitting out there and listening to the sounds of the woods in the evening or drinking coffee there in the morning. Lots of comfy seating. We also loved the fire pit area. We really enjoyed the house and would definitely stay there again.

Great location for visiting Indiana Dune National Park
This was really a wonderful place to stay. Lots of room. Clean. Kitchen fully equipped. Our only complaint was the water which smelled like chemicals. We Googled the water quality which confirmed levels of a number of chemicals were high. We bought several gallons of water at the local store; once we did that it was not a problem, but you might want alert renters that they will want to bring their own drinking water.

Perfect Christmas Lincoln Log Lodge Stay
We had a great Christmas at Lincoln Log Lodge - the openness was perfect for our family - we shared food, games, laughter & made memories to last forever. The lodge & property are better than photos! We would recommend this for an off-beach season place to stay and it would even be more amazing in summertime. Bottled water jugs were provided & we brought more of our own for drinking / food prep. For showering, etc. the water is fine.

Great place off the beaten path for friends/fun/craft weekend!
The living/kitchen/dining was spacious. Lots of outlets for crafting. The light during the day was amazing ..grabbed a few table lamps for late night crafting. I would recommend bringing filtered water as the house has well water. The check out instructions via email compared to the ones on the refrigerator are slightly different but pretty close anyway. After checkout we went to Sophie’s for brunch…highly recommended!

Property was beautiful. Located close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Updated log cabin located in a lovely neighborhood. Charming decor and with a wonderful screened in porch. Except for extremely low water pressure, the trip was close to perfect.

Fantastic Inside and Out
Rented for the great outdoor space and the patio with firepit was nice. The adjacent screened in back deck was nice for dinners and hanging out as well. On a quiet street, not too far from beach access. Layout inside is a nice open area with plenty of tables and then bedrooms off to each side of the main room.

Beautiful location and home with a fair bit of annoyances
I will say up front we had a great weekend with family here. Very nice home and location with lots of outdoor and indoor spaces for us to gather. It's too bad that the place and experience had a number of issues. Half the lights in the main room were burned out, so a good portion of the communal space was dark all weekend. Because of the impersonal nature of the entire rental process, we didn't even know who to contact about this. For the hefty cleaning fee, everything in the house we touched was sticky, several dishes were put dirty back in drawers and cabinets (a couple really gross), and numerous dresser drawers had old granola bar wrappers, chewed gum, etc. in them. Also for the price we paid, I felt like there was no need to be stingy with supplies - no coffee, salt or pepper (every house we've ever rented has these basics), barely enough toilet paper (in fact we were told to bring extra), not enough dishwasher pods - we had to ration them, two of the tiniest sample bars of hand soap - all for a house that holds 8 people. Coffee pot that was too small to give everyone a first cup of coffee. Not enough dish towels for a long weekend - the few we had were constantly wet. Too persnickity about the exact move in and out times. The key pad didn't open until the exact move-in time and automatically locked at move-out. No room for error - and after driving over four hours to get to your house for the weekend, had to sit in the driveway waiting to get in. It felt like the owner just really didn't care about providing a positive experience.

Loved the kitchen, and the open floor plan allowed us to gather our group together to hang out and eat together. Master bed on one side of house, guest beds on the other~perfect! Wonderful stay! Highly recommended!
