Attracted by a beautiful combination of woods and lake, residents from Chicago, Indiana, and Michigan have made their way to this serene spot for rest and relaxation for many years. Today, the cottage has been updated to provide the cozy comforts you desire, while maintaining the knotty pine interior and welcoming feeling of a traditional cabin in the woods. Curl up in the main room by the two-story fieldstone fireplace with a lofted ceiling. Enjoy drinks on the screened patio or by the backyard fire pit table. Take a stroll on the gentle trails to watch the sunset on the lakefront, possibly spotting families of deer foraging among the trees or drinking from the creek. Experience the calm, quiet breeze of a warm summer night in the woods, or turn on the central air conditioning and relax in total comfort. The Indiana Dunes and all the wonderful offerings of Michigan's Harbor Country are close by, making this your ideal getaway.

We kindly request that guests refrain from hosting large parties or family gatherings out of respect for the neighboring homeowners, many of whom reside here year-round. By fostering a sense of harmony and consideration, we can ensure that everyone enjoys a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

This property is well-maintained and equipped for the comfort and convenience of our guests. Our vacation rentals include well-equipped kitchens, living, and dining areas. Linens and towels are provided. Homes have washers and dryers, a dishwasher, central heat and air conditioning, cable/satellite television, DVD players, and high-speed Internet service.

We ask that renters bring condiments, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, extra toilet paper, and convenience items like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and zip-lock bags. We do not resupply anything during the stay. We provide two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, 4 garbage bags, and hand soap in each bathroom so plan according to your needs.

This property is Dog-friendly. A non-refundable fee per stay, per dog ( 2 dog max) is assessed during the booking process.

Minimum Age Limit for Renters: The guest signing the rental agreement/contract must be 30 years of age or older (ID at check-in required) and must be responsible for the group during the entire time of the stay.

Maximum occupancy restrictions: The number of guests at any WAYA-managed property can not exceed the maximum occupancy number (or sleeps number). This includes invited guests, friends, or additional family members. Events, parties, or family gatherings are not permitted without express written permission prior to booking.
