"We had a terrific stay on the Lady Faye - we are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys ( age 17 and 13). This is a beautiful ship in an incredible setting - we had coffee in the AM watching floatplanes and cruise ships glide by - in the evening seals and sea lions coupled with fishing cruisers coming and going was beautiful. "The place was perfect for 2 people. We spent a lot of time in the afternoons out on the deck watching people from the cruise ships. Location was great. Easy walk to downtown. A bit more challenging coming back, but you can get a cab to bring you back up the hill. Would definitely stay here again."

"This was our first stay in a vrbo/bnb and it did not disappoint. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The apartment is nicely done with big windows to look out at the ocean. The view was beautiful and the whales were incrediable to watch. "This basement apartment was the perfect cozy spot for my husband and I. We woke up and could see the cruise ship from the kitchen window. The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft. We didn’t use the kitchen during our short stay but it looked well stocked and the coffee was great in the morning. The pictures sent of the entrance were helpful in locating this basement spot. We would stay again."

"Incredibly beautiful Herring Cove. Eight and one half mile south of Ketchikan. Right on the water. We caught salmon, had a bear amble through the yard at twilight. Saw a humpback whale breach over and over. Caught huge , delicious Dungeness crab. What a fantastic week and for our family the perfect walk down memory lane. Fifty years ago we lived here "

"As I told you when I rented your VRBO this is my first experience doing so. I didn't ask sufficient questions and learned from that experience. For instance, I didn't know that the bathroom door was installed backwards and the a person could be trapped in the bathroom in a fire if the freezer door opened during that type of event. "Everything was exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Location requires a rental car, but since we had one, it worked just fine. We enjoyed being so close to Herring Cove where we could watch the bears and eagles first thing every morning, and last thing every evening. Can't walk to the ocean, as the forest is too thick. View is beautiful, tho."
