"This property deserves all the 5 star reviews it gets. My children called it "magical." It's a quiet setting with a marsh (tree frogs on the windows at night were a treat) and a small beach perfect for building sandcastles. We appreciated the use of the 2 stand up paddleboards, crab pots, and steamer. Decorated to a high standard with quality linens. It was lovely to go out on the dock at night and see stars and to sit at the firepit. Great communication, easy check in and reasonable check out...

"I loved the cottage! I will suggest a few things: The front door knob is loose and the doors do not align to use the dead bolt. Having a small table and chairs where the sitting chairs would be a nice option for those that could use more table space to eat as well as use a laptop computer."

"This property is just as beautiful as the pictures imply. You couldn't ask for a better view to wake up to in the mornings. Something for everyone - we swam, kayaked, paddled, fished, crabbed, and boated. The grandparents read books on the porch enjoying the view. Fourth of July in downtown Belhaven was a scene from a Hallmark movie. We had a great time and would definitely return."

"We spent 3 lovely nights here in this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were able to dock our boat outside on the creek giving us easy access to fishing and fun. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful get away!"

"The property is in a really great area. The home itself is a great place to stay for a vacation, with many beds and enough rooms. However, the bathrooms and kitchen seemed not well maintained. While we did not need to use the kitchen, we were not keen to use the Bathroom for a shower since we didnt like it . Overall good stay, except clenliness of the place."

"The cottage rooms and views from the cottage are a thousand times better than in the pictures. There is no camera that can do that view justice. It is a very special place on the planet.
