"This weekend was a perfect get away. The house was cute and quaint. We felt comfortable and at home while staying here. We have two little boys and they absolutely loved the yard, beach and dock. They spent all day playing in the water and sand letting their imaginations run wild. The lake was perfect for cruises, fishing was hit and miss this weekend but still caught a Northern, large mouth bass and little blue gills. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice get away weekend...

"This house was perfect for what we needed. Our family used to have a house on Spider Lake so this was like going home. The rooms are very small and there is not a ton of space, but it was perfect for what we needed at the time. The beds are comfy, but the one bedroom with twin beds is barely moveable - they are end to end with no walking room so it is not good for 2 adults (kids would have no issue). We walked between the home and our friends place with no issues and the stars were beautiful....

"The cabin was well appointed, clean, spacious, as described. The cabin's location is private, wooded, and located on a peaceful waterfront. Mercer is a fantastic small town, and the people were very nice. It's pretty centrally located within 30/45 minute drive to many other towns of interest. Communication with Dave was excellent. Would definitely come back."

"We were planning on cross country skiing but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of hiking near by, 6 min from town, was just the right size for the 4 of us! We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. To the owners may want to add more dish towels or a drainer for under drying rack and a new toaster as you have to unplug it to get the toast to come up."

"Tucked away in the northwoods is this little slice of heaven, perfect for a getaway from the busyness of everyday life. Beautiful property, cabin was immaculate! Fishing was great. Plenty of wildlife, including bears, fawns and so many eagles. Definitely recommend. Easy booking and excellent communication. Hope to return in the fall!"

"Clean, great location for what we wanted to see/do, good communication with owner, super nice neighbors. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the dog park. Especially appreciated that we could have our dogs (they loved their vacation too). Would recommend and would stay here again."

"We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!"

"The cottage was perfect for my partner's birthday who wanted a cute place to stay in nature. The hosts were very nice and welcoming ☺️ The property itself has a bonfire pit area overlooking the water, and a little dock with some kayaks that you can take out. We visited Minocqua for some shopping and dining, and hiked around Cathedral Point. The whole area is gorgeous, there is something for everyone here!"

"The property, though older, has been well maintained and was spotless. There was plenty of space, and the view out the huge picture window over the water was spectacular. Communication with the host was great, and Michelle was so kind, especially when we couldn't get the door opened the first time. Other than coffee and wine, kitchen amenities are limited, but we had everything we needed to make simple meals. I have never seen so many bath amenities in my life. I enjoyed two soaks in the tub.
