Private Creek and walking distance to downtown Mentone!

Cozy cottage nestled in the woods with large screened in porch to listen to the birds. Bedrooms have blackout blinds for a prefect night sleep. Fire pit for evenings with the family. Only one mile to Mentone brow park to watch beautiful sunsets. We have games for the rainy days. Fully stocked kitchen. We are 1.4 miles from Lil Mole Run golf course, and best of all a private creek to walk and enjoy all to yourself. This is a new property and the yard is still in progress, thank you for your understanding.

Perfect stay!

This little cottage was so cute and comfortable! It was exactly as described. Amy really put some extra thought into the comfort and needs of her guests. So many little thoughtful touches that most vacation rentals don't offer anymore. If we had forgotten anything, chances are we would have had it. We didn't end up needing anything but it was so nice to know that it was there if we had. My favorite part about coming back from a long day out hiking and checking out the area was the comfy reclining chairs and so many cozy blankets to wrap up in. The coffee bar was so cute and had everything needed to make the perfect cup of morning coffee. I loved that she had a binder full of things to do in the area and menus from local eateries. Her guest book was also fun to look at for suggestions from previous guests. Mentone Market had the BEST pizza and the Hatter Cafe was our favorite breakfast spot! We also enjoyed a day trip to Chattanooga which was only a 45 minute drive. I highly recommend going to the Chattanooga Market which is only open on Sundays. Huge selection of local food and crafts- go hungry! They have so many food trucks and vendors. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back myself one day!

We loved this cabin, it was in a Great location, very clean, the screened back porch was so relaxing. Not far from Desoto Falls, Little River Canyon and next door to the Market in Mentone (we love their pizza) Just a Fun, Relaxing place to enjoy nature and relaxā€¦..We love Mentone and Fort Payne area (Look Out Mountain)ā€¦.Also right close to Brow Park/the sunsets there are Beautiful!!

Fourth of July get away

Extremely well kept well appointed property...felt almost brand new. Convenient to area attractions. Large screened in porch was our favorite hang out while staying with our granddaughters.

Relaxing in Mentone

I canā€™t say enough about this property. It was excellent in every aspect. Amy gets an A for this one. She communicates very well with her guests and is extremely responsive to any issue that may arise (coffee maker quit working one morning and she had a replacement to us before noon).I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for quiet, peaceful and restful stay in Mentone. The screened porch was wonderful. Thanks again Amy and I hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful time at the Creekside Cottage! It was an ideal place for a relaxing getaway weekend. The house is clean, equipped with all that we needed, and spacious. The setting could not be more serene. Highly recommended.

Creekside Cottage is Amazing!

This feels like a new home, everything is perfect. I felt like I was secluded but was only a half mile from town. The private creek is so nice, especially since it is in the forest. Amy went above and beyond as a host to help me feel welcome. I hope to stay here again.

Perfect spot for relaxing getaway!

This home is perfect for a couple or small family to have a relaxing getaway. The home is set up with everything you could need. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. We stay in vacation rentals when we travel, and this one is now at the top of our list of favorites!Shops and restaurants are within walking distance.The owners thoughtfully provided chairs for relaxing by the creek and there is a fire pit for your enjoyment outdoors. Our favorite thing was the screened in porch. We enjoyed our coffee each morning sitting out there listing to the birds. We saw a deer our first morning there.It gets our highest rating for a vacation rental!

Perfect getaway

This place was perfect for our little getaway. We saw deer the first morning we were there and enjoyed walking down to the creek. The rooms were nicely furnished and very comfortable. The gas fireplace heated up the cabin very quickly. We loved both porches and spent a lot of time on both. We also enjoyed the firepit area. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware. We will back.

Wonderful!

Absolutely beautiful house! Very clean! Looks like a new build. Great selling point was the creek- my kids loved it. Also the big nice screened in porch and fire pit area. Large area in back where we played games of baseball.

Girls Bday Getaway

We absolutely loved everything about this property! Beautiful home! Decorated perfectly and soooo cozy! t was too cold to enjoy the great screened in porch and it is large! Our hostess thought of everything! Soaps, shampoo, coffee set ups. It was so close to shops, restaurants and Desoto Falls. My only regret was the weather forecast. We left a day early in case it iced over. Can not say enough good things! We will be back as soon as we can! Thank you Amy!

The Coziest!

This was the cutest little new ā€œcabinā€ in the woods in the quaint mountain town of Mentone, AL. It has two huge bedrooms and bathrooms. The main living space was so cozy and comfy with a Christmas tree for the season. The gas fireplace was nice and toasty. The spacious outdoor covered porch was perfect for enjoying the woodsy scenery. It was about two minutes from downtown. Over all a fantastic getaway. Look forward to our next stay!

Wonderful Christmas Stay

We spent Christmas week at the cottage. Beautifully decorated, so peaceful and quiet. Amy is a wonderful host, quickly responds to questions. We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. It was too cold for sitting on the fantastic porch (so we want to go back in warmer weather!)but we enjoyed walking to the creek out back. The area is full of beautiful places within short drives. Amy has thought of everything you may need during your stay. Creekside Cottage quickly became our favorite place to stay!!
