"I like that it was a different experience being on a house boat. There was an unpleasant smell outside. I liked the location. I didn't like that you could only use their soap, shampoo, conditioner and dish soap and they gave you enough of these for 1 day. I understand the use of these soaps but it should have been mentioned in the literature. Also getting into bed was tough as their was about a foot of space. Next time I'd rent one of their cottages. "This place was nice. The pool situation was a little awkward as it does appear to be mainly for the bigger house as other reviews stated. The gas grill which is beneath the main house by the pool is communal. The main reason I gave this a 4 was because the smoke alarms in the rental did not have any batteries. "Very comfortable low key rental. The house was clean and setup perfectly for what we needed. The pool was very warm more like an oversized hot tub but it was still nice to hang out in after a day out. Loved the outdoor shower! "It was a wonderful stay. Love having two rooms and my girls having their own beds. There is an inaccuracy on the listing that it is two beds in one room and 1 bed in the other room. Love the beach chairs and the umbrella that we can take to the beach to use. Love the pool table and pool. The pool is pretty deep at one end w/o depth marking. It would be over 6 ft because my husband, 5'9", can't touch the pool floor on the depth end. Location is great that you can go more south or north for more...
