Healesville Country House

At the Healesville Country House and for our treasured guests - We take cleanliness very seriously!

Our house is cleaned by professional cleaners on the morning of your checkin date and on the day you check out. Our cleaning regime includes sanitising disinfecting all surfaces and floors.
- Every appliances inside and out.
- Every single glass, plate, bowl and piece of cutlery.
- Windows.


We asked for a 5 day booking over Christmas and New Years.

Our beautiful house was built in 1901 and has been home to some of Healesville's most famous characters. Built with granduer in mind this house has 14 foot pressed metal ceilings, extra large bedrooms and living quarters, and large sweeping bullnose verandahs encapsulating the best views Healesville's has to offer.

Recent renovations blend the best of the old and new an entertainers kitchen with an old french dining table that easily seats 12 guests.

The extra large country kitchen still retains the old combustion oven that also radiates warmth during the winter months. Cooking is a charm in this space with all the modern appliances you will ever need, with ovens, a large gas stove and dishwasher - you'll have more time to relax and unwind with a beautiful glass of Yarra Valley's finest reds.

There are two lounge rooms for unwinding - upstairs with plush couches, flat screen, DVD player and stereo great for watching movies. The downstairs lounge is just stunning and has a gorgeous french chandelier as its centre piece. Outside their are 3 separate areas for taking in the outdoors. The old verandahs looking over the majestic hills, the pool and with a large deck is perfect for a BBQ and there's a secluded outdoor space in the gardens outside the kitchen with access through big sliding doors from the dining room

The Sum Of All the Parts

There are 5 bedrooms in total - 4 Queen sized beds and 1 King sized bed that can be separated to become 2 King single beds. There are two bathrooms, one up stairs with a beautiful shower, and the one downstairs retains the original Claw Bath that's perfect for soaking in after a long day at the wineries. There are 3 fire places, beautiful linen is included as well as Laundry with Washing Machine & Dryer.

There's a half an acre of garden explore and a circular driveway that can comfortably park 5 cars.

This place is magnificent and perfect for any occasion.

Bridal House Stay
This was the most beautiful home for a large family staying for a wedding. Perfect for Brides photos and very family friendly. All amenities were supplied and so close to the Main Street in Healesville. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. We had an amazing stay x

This property is simply beautiful. So much charm and comfort and on a stunning property. So much space to comfortably sleep 5 couples. Stacey and Jack made the whole stay so easy by being such great hosts to deal with. Couldn’t recommend more!

Enjoyed exploring Healesville and the Yarra Valley from this accom
We had a lovely time with our extended family but there were quite a few things we all commented on. The crockery and glasses are on a shelf over 180cm high. A stool is supplied but there is no way most of the family could reach them. There are 2 average bathrooms and a toilet off the laundry. The house is very old with many gaps to let in spiders and insects. One bedroom was full of bugs which freaked out my nieces. There was plenty of insect spray provided though. The view from downstairs has all been blocked out because the bushes have not been trimmed enough. It’s such a pity. The whole garden is very over grown and makes the house quite dark with the big kitchen table not a very welcoming space. We liked the lounge room but it’s just a little gas fire in there. Anyway we were grateful for somewhere to stay so that we could explore the region. Healesville and the Yarra Valley is an amazing region and offers so many sophisticated hospitality venues and activities. We look forward to spending more time in The Valley.

We stayed at this beautiful house for our Wedding in March. Sensational for Photos, So much space, Just a beautiful house. Jack and Stacey were just so amazing & accommodating to deal with, HOWEVER just very have fussy neighbors. But overall 10/10

I would highly recommend this beautiful property. There is plenty of room across the property which is packed with various amenities that are perfect for either summer or winter. The property was very clean upon arrival and is in a great location. The property owners were a breeze to deal with.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay, was very easy to unwind and relax in such a beautiful and large house. The pool area and large verandah were a big hit as well. Can definitely recommend staying here and communication with owners was prompt, professional and friends. We would stay here again.

Was perfect for a summer holiday!
This was the perfect property for us to bring three families together over the summer holidays. We loved the pool and it was used heavily as we had 3 days over 40 degrees when we were there. Great break out areas so that we weren’t all on top of each other. The down stairs bedrooms did get really hot because of the extreme weather we had. Would have been nice to open a window in the evening to let some of the cool change in, but we managed enough with the very powerful fans. We loved our stay and thought the house was just beautiful. We walked into town easily enough for a dinner at a local restaurant. Thanks Jack and Stacey.

Our family (6 adults and4 children) had a lovely stay in Healesville. The rambling house has loads of room and a well equipped kitchen. The gardens could do with a bit of work but relaxing on the verandah was great.

The accuracy of the online listing wasn't totally accurate - the house was much better than it was in the photos - that ceiling in the living room was to die for. House was thoughtfully and beautifully styled and felt so comfortably. Cosy and warm on a mid winter weekend with everything we needed. Close enough to town to walk for our gin tasting and long lunch - the hill on the way back challenged us a little :) The only complaint for the weekend was the pool filter noise overnight in one bedroom - perhaps a timer could be installed ? We will be back and will all spread the word, Thank you. - PS we were a group of 12 school friends that have known each other 36 years and was spacious and slept us all comfortably.

Annual Reunion Getaway
Five couples enjoyed our weekend away at this beautiful Victorian house set amongst views to admire. Stunning styling in all rooms. The dining table enabled us to enjoy the local produce and wine to great effect. Close to golf courses, Healesville race track and many restaurants, shops and wineries. The owner was easy to contact. For a large group or family, you can’t do any better!
