"Das Haus ist perfekt für große Gruppen, die gerne gemeinsam kochen und essen aber dennoch eigene Zimmer bzw. Wohnungen haben möchten. "This is an excellent holiday property. You climb up to it via hairpin bends so take your time and just let the locals pass you in thier Fiat Pandas. The house is a few hunded metres out of village and such a tranquil spot. I almost dont want to give a god review to stop this place becoming to booked up for my next visit but that would be selfish. On the first morning when you throw open the french doors and sit and take in the views you will know you made the right choice. The hosts pop along...

"The villa is really lovely. Giacomo our host was extremely kind and helpful. Plenty of room for the 11 of us girls. You have to really have car as getting taxis as we did was a bit of a challenge. There are no supermarkets close by so a car is essential to buy supplies Some of the beds are a little uncomfortable but the rooms are lovely and very spacious Pisa is less than 20 mins and Lucca is very close too. The restaurant Stefani is a must. Thanks Villa Mari for an amazing holiday!"

"The property was clean and well equipped the pool was large and very clean. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. Weather was against us as the area is quite mountainous and therefore subject o fluctuations. Car is essential. Small town nearby has everything required. Restaurant within walking distance down a steep winding road but unfortunately was closed for the majority of our stay. "

"Nós hospedamos por 19 dias na casa de Massimo , que foi um ótimo anfitrião. Casa confortável , com uma vista lunda da montanha. Encontramos todos os itens necessários para nossa estadia. "We where two families in total of 10 people. The villa has a remarkable view and pool area with outdoor kitchen. A table big enough for all of us to sit next to the poolarea and eat breakfast/dinner. The way up to Olive Tree Suites was a bit tricky with narrow turns. I would recommend to arrive if possible when its light outside. At least the first time. We had a great vacation. "

"Es war wirklich einfach nur ein Traum. Es sind quasi 3 Wohnungen in Form von einem großen und einem kleinen Haus, die aber alle privat vermietet werden also man ist komplett privat auf dem Riesen Gelände. Es war noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos, Riesen Pool, Mega Aussicht, wirklich wunderschön. Alles war absolut sauber, Betten super bequem und perfekt ausgestattet. Absolut empfehlenswert. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich lieb, Dierks wurde sogar ein unglaublich leckerer Kuchen vorbeigebracht....

"-Magnifique maison , ( chambres et salle de bain spacieuses et tout est très bien équipé ….) emplacement très pratique pour visiter la vallée de la Garfagnana….. tout est rapidement accessible en voiture ….génial pour les amateurs de randonnées.Les propriétaires sont très serviables .les frais de ménages et de linges sont compris dans le prix de la location .( ce qui est rarement le cas en Italie ) -Petite route très étroite et sinueuse pour accéder au logement….l accès à la piscine est payant...

"Ideal lovely location on a mt hillside with a beautiful sea view and mountain ranges behind us. Charming couple that own the house. Daniele was very helpful getting our dog the correct health certificate papers since we were visiting Italy for 3 months. He went over and above helping us...and we are very grateful. The house is as described-safe area and close to Lucca and Viareggio Beach and town...a fabulous area to visit!!! Perfect location and base to see all the sights in Tuscany and go on...

"We are for the 4th consecutive year in Tuscany in the Viarregio region.. The current location is phenomenal.. The view is wonderful, the house is very beautiful, very clean, equipped with everything you need..
