Beautiful cottage near silver lake sand dunes

After a hot day on the dunes or on the lake come enjoy this cute cottage. It features 2 large patios, 2 fire pits, and an out door bar area. Inside you will find a second floor master suite. Blinds have been added to the windows for more privacy! Main floor holds the kitchen living and half bath. In the lower level you will find the bunk room, a full bath and laundry. The cottage sleeps 7 very comfortably. The ONLY entrance to the lower level is from the exterior from the lower patio. There is plenty of parking for trucks and trailers out front.

Great little house
The only disappointment was that it was very hot and the window air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom is the only source of AC for the whole house.

Beautiful Cottage
We had a wonderful stay here! The owner was very quick to reply to my questions and super helpful. Everything we needed was there! It was nice and close to Silver Lake and in a quiet neighborhood. Bonus was that it has a washer and dryer so that we could go home with clean clothes, especially helpful with young children!

SXS Trip with Friends
We loved our stay at this cottage near the dunes! We'll need to come back to take advantage of the outside bar area below since we enjoyed the dunes most of the time and then the firepit up top was amazing! We loved the separate entrance for our group (2 couples and a solo), it worked out perfectly! Definitely will be back!

overall great stay, clean. accurate pictures. great quiet and friendly neighborhood. Dont count on the wifi though, it never worked for us the entire weekend which we could have used. All good otherwise. great stay

Nice accommodations. I’d recommend a booklet with info for the place. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and soaps. Thermostat is at floor level on the register under tv. Keybox is under side railing (had to look for a bit :). Really need blinds upstairs especially in bathroom! I’d recommend reading lights in bedroom.

nice location, nice furniture, small but ok, nice bar downstairs. cob webs in bottom rooms, and really some shears upstairs would be nice. didn't like that there was a travel trailer there that had the best flat spot and the shadiest area, everything was ok

Some important details not in property description
The property was overall clean. The fridge had a smell and was crowded with food when we arrived so had a hard time fitting what I brought in the fridge. Otherwise clean. My biggest problem was that the basement room was not connected to the house. Had to go outside to access. Not good for kids and terrible in the rain which we had for a couple of our days at Silver Lake. Another big problem for me was the lack of window coverings on the windows. Not a single window had a shade or drape. Very uncomfortable when showering/dressing, especially at night.

Enjoyed the privacy. Family time around the fire. Close to everything. Water pressure in the shower wasn't the best. Maybe upgrade the grill. We did have a nice time.

Lovely house near Silver Lake
My family had a great stay at this cute little house near Silver Lake. The house was very clean upon arrival and was just the right amount of space for a few days. We were able to walk to the lake and the public beach was a short drive or bike ride away. The only things that I would note for a family with younger children, like my own, is that the downstairs room with the bunk beds is not accessible from the main level and has a separate outside entrance. We weren’t comfortable having our kids sleep in there by themselves so my husband slept on the spare mattress that was in the room. Also, there are no window treatments on any windows so it is pretty bright early in the morning and until later at night. I don’t mind this for myself, but again, just something to know ahead of you are planning a stay with young kids.

Nice location near Silver Lake. We enjoyed the patio, fire pit, and outdoor area. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The refrigerator was unclean (shelves had food) and there was an open, popped bag of popcorn near the rafters in the downstairs bedroom. Otherwise , beautiful home.
